A fan sequel to the MLP movie, inspired in part by the film's original premise.

A month after Twilight and company's trip beyond Equestria's borders, a new threat arrives to take advantage of the aftermath. But things aren't simple this time, and Twilight finds herself arguing with Celestia over how to deal with this new enemy.

The Mane 6 and friends will have to venture deep beneath Equestria and travel through a strange, alien forest to save the balance of magic. But can Twilight and her friends also save bonds that have been broken seemingly beyond repair?

I am enjoying it so far. I know how hard it can be to post a fic at times as I took a month to gain courage to post mine. Glad you are posting this one.

Heh, yeah. Doesn't help that I keep wanting to go back and rewrite the stuff I haven't posted yet. Thank you for your kind words, though.

The alicorn folded their wings back to their sides and began trotting towards the entrance once again. Now that they were closer, Twilight could make out their features more clearly. The alicorn had a grey coat and a long, charcoal-black mane. Their frame was thin and wiry, to the point where they looked almost malnourished.

Is anyone else getting Ulquiorra flashbacks?

Honestly, I kinda believe the only reason Celestia had so much faith in Twilight's abilities was because of the little trip through time that Starlight made tipped Celestia off to the fact that twilight would ascend.

It explains so much really...and it wouldn't be to hard to see in canon with Starswirl's spell in season 2 causing a event that wouldn't happen else wise.

Who's to say the situation is actually different.

This story is amazing. I never seen or read a strain between Twilight and Celestia's relationship in an extended period of time before. That is very rare. Are you going to keep writing new chapters?
