Chapter 10 – Sparkling Teacher

*Cam’s POV*

*Boom* *BOOM* *BOOM*

Your thrown out of bed from the explosions, you get up off of the floor and quickly look around, you see that only the ground is shaking, you quickly throw on your deep blue slippers, and run to the main floor. You look around and see no damage. *BOOM* your thrown off of your feet and you then think, “They’re in the basement,” you quickly make your way to the basement. You look around and see no one, *BOOM* your land on your feet and think, “What could be lower than my…” you quickly remember that Amber used magic to create a training arena below your basement, “They’re in a lot of trouble when I get a hold of whoever’s fighting right now,” you break down the door to the training room and see Tia and Luna sparing, you see that their matching each other blow for blow, you sigh and decide to end this fight now. You snap your fingers and they turn to face you, “Before you say good morning or sorry, you should know you’re in a lot of trouble,” you tell them and they look dejected at that.

You hear footsteps coming towards you and see that Twilight and Cadence have woken up, “What’s going on down here,” Twilight looks at you, “Oh, morning Cam,” she tells you.

“Morning to you too,” you look at the clock, “Oh crap! What’s the date today?” you ask panically.

“It’s a Thursday, why do you ask?” Tia asks you,

“Oh, crap, sorry, but thanks for getting me up. I might’ve missed class if you didn’t do this, so your punishment is off for now. I have to go get ready for class,” you say to the others, you turn to leave and see Twilight running beside you, “Why are you running?” you ask her,

“Oh, I got a job and I’m on the early shift, so I need to also get ready, and since it’s 4:30 in the morning and I have work at 8:00, I would like to be ready before I become late for my first day,” she answers you,

“Well I’ll shower first, and then I’ll make breakfast, okay?” you tell Twilight,

“Sounds good to me, and please, call me Twi now,” she tells you before you head up the stairs to the top floor,

“Okay Twi,” you say as you run into your room to get your clothing ready before you enter your shower.

You wait for your teacher in the hall of the arena, you decide to pass the time and open up your laptop to check if you have all of your homework handed in. As your checking it you feel someone tap you on the shoulder, you look at the person who tapped you on the shoulder, and you couldn’t believe your eyes, it was Tempest, “What are you doing here?” you ask her,

“I’m here because Amber got me into the classes and would like me to keep an eye on you while she’s busy working,” she tells you,

“Fine,” you tell her in an irritated tone, you then turn and see some of the guys from your class looking her over, “If you guys try anything on her,” they look at you with hope, “I’ll break your arms,” the look they gave you looked like they all wanted to kill you, you then turn and look at the office and see someone entering the office while wearing a hoodie, you decide to leave it alone, because obviously it isn’t your business.

As you sit in class waiting for the teacher to return with their notes, you start to look over your notes for your math class, your teacher comes in with a hopeful look on his face, “Now students, as you know I plan to retire after this semester, so I have an assistant teacher for the last couple of weeks of class,” he waves his hand in a come here motion. Who you see makes you quickly rise out of your seat, “Mr. Cameron, do you know this person?” your teacher gestures towards the teacher’s assistant,

“OH, sorry Cam, I didn’t know you were in this class, but we can talk about that later,” she turns to face the class, “Hello there, my name is Twilight; Twilight Sparkle, but your can call me Ms. Sparkle,” she tells the class.

During your break you asked Twilight to speak with you alone.

“So… What do you want to talk about Cam?” she asks with a bit of fear in her voice,

“Look, I’m not happy about you getting a job where your constantly around people, and I don’t want you to be found out, okay,” you tell her with genuine concern.

“Yes… your right, but I do have the education to teach, and back home I can’t do that because of… well you know,” she says in a dejected tone.

“Look, I do mind that your doing this, but please, be careful,” you tell her “Now that I’ve gotten that out, I say we head back to class,” you tell her before you start to walk away, she grabs your shoulder, “Look, if you want to continue this talk, you’ll have to wait till we get home,” you start to walk away.

“Before class ends, there’s been something on my mind,” the teacher says, “Cameron, how do you know my assistant?”

“OH, I know her because her and some her friends are living with me,” you say casually, every girl in the class looks at you with disgust, while the guys look like they’re wanting to kill you right now, “So, I don’t care, if anyone in this class tries anything I’ll personally kick their ass myself,” you continue to tell them casually.

“Well then, Ms. Sparkle, is this true?” the teacher asks Twi, she nods her head, after that one student gets up and launches themselves at you while pulling out a knife, you see this coming and grab his arm and throw him onto the table while twisting his arm behind his back.

“Was that the best you could do?” your monotony ask,

“What’s it to you? You have who knows how many babes living with you so I want in on that action,” the person you’re holding down says

“There’s no way in hell you’ll ever get near them,” you tell him threateningly

“GO TO HELL!!!” he yells as he turns the blade and stabs you in your forearm. You retract your arm, but he get’s his blade out of your arm before you pull away,

“Looks like this’ll be more interesting than I thought?” you say with genuine surprise. You then seethe door fly open and see the police enter the room.

“DROP THE WEAPON NOW!” the officer yells at the student,

“GO TO HELL!” he yells before he tries to run at you, but he gets shot by the cops before he could even make a move.

After the cops debriefed you and got your side of the story, they left the hospital room they threw you in. After a few minuets your given permission to leave the hospital, as you leave the hospital you see everyone outside with a look that says I’m in deep trouble.

After they all finished yelling at you, you decide to go to the training room.

You enter the room and see Luna and Tia about to duke to out again, but you decide to intervein, “You do know that I’m not happy about you fighting without someone watching right?” you ask as you descend the stairs to the large part of the arena.

“Oh, Cam, we didn’t hear you enter,” Tia says

“We didn’t hear thou enter either,” Luna says,

“Luna, you still need to get out of the habit of saying thou, you’ve gotten everything else down, but you still need to get that out of your system,” you tell her,

“What if thou is only doing it to annoy you?” she says in a mischievous tone,

“Well if that’s the case then I guess your grounded from the games for a week,” you say in an equally mischievous tone,

“No, no, no, anything but that, please,” she says in a begging tone,

“So, do you still have it in your system or are you doing it to mess with me?” you ask her,

“No, thou are right, I still have it in my system,” she says dejectedly,

“*Ahem* I would like to get to our match sister,” Tia says to Luna,

“Thou are right sister, we should be getting to our match,” Luna says as she turns away from you and looks back at Tia.

“You know what,” they both look at you, “I think it would be interesting to see if both of you can beat me, I’ve been working on my skills when you girls weren’t home and I think I might be good enough to go toe to toe with both of you,” you say with confidence.

“Is that you or your, THE ONE, power talking?” Tia asks in a playful tone.

“Nope, this is 100% me talking,” you tell them

“Well I think it’s a good idea, what does thou think…” Luna tries to say,

“Luna, language,” you tell her,

“Right, what do YOU think about that sister?” Luna asks Tia

“I think it would be a great idea… but then who would make dinner?” Tia asks

“Don’t worry, I’ve already decided that we’re going to order pizza,” you tell them

“Oh, I love Pizza! Please sister, can we have someone make pizza for us when we return home,” Luna asks with childlike glee.

“Yes, I will, and speaking of which how is Twilight doing with the…” Tia doesn’t get to finish her sentence before a large boom, “What was that?” Tia asks with concern.

“That was me… *Cough* sorry, I’m having some trouble trying to connect the portal to home, I think something’s interfering with the connection,” Twi says after emerging from one of the side rooms in the training room.

You instantly think that you know the person behind it.

“Anyways, I still need to make some tests for next weeks test for Cam’s class,” Twi says after whipping some of the soot off of herself.

“Hey Twi, can you give me the answers?” you ask jokingly.

“Maybe, are you willing to learn about chemistry?” she asks flirtatiously.

“No, I had to go through two chemistry classes to graduate high-school, so no,” you tell her.

“Okay, your loss,” she says and walks up the stair with a small sway in her hips which cause you to blush.

“Well, that’s the first time I’ve seen Twilight being flirtatious? She’s quite good since she got you to blush” Tia says.

“I am not blushing, it’s hot in here so that’s why I’m red,” you say defensively.

“Okay, okay, anyways, without any further interruptions,” she waits for a few seconds, “we can get to this sparing match,” Tia says.

*Luna’s POV*

After our match with Cameron we decided to have a shower, my sister went first, Cam went second and I’m just about to go in, I start to take off my clothes. I start the water and use magic to heat the water up faster and a sound-proofing spell so no one will hear me, I start to think about how hot Cam looked after we accidentally tore his shirt in the fight, he had gained a lot of muscle over the last month and a half, I think I’ll relive myself once I get into the shower.

*Tempest’s POV*

After you finish dinner you decide to excuse yourself to “go to bed” when in reality you’re just giving your report to your boss.

As you enter your room you pull out the device again, and the same ting happens again.

“What do you have to report Tempest?” the figure asks,

“From what I’ve learned the home owner, Cameron has a minor regeneration ability, I saw it after someone in his class stabbed his arm, by the time he got to the hospital, the wound had fully healed and there were no scars,” you tell the figure.

“Okay, okay. Anything else?” it asks,

“Besides that, the one named Twilight is a teacher’s assistant at Cameron’s college now,” you tell the figure.

“Hum, I want the package here in 2 days from now, you got that?” the figure orders you,

*Twilight’s POV*

As you head to your room to read some books you borrowed at the library, you hear Tempest talking to someone, “I want the package here in 2 days from now, you got that?” the mysterious person asks,

You hear Tempest say, “Roger, I won’t fail you,” you then hear Tempest coming towards the door and you decide to teleport to your room. You start to think that Tempest works part time as a delivery person for the mail, but why would someone talk about their package like it’s a living thing, so does Tempest have amnesia, is she playing you all for fools, you decide to investigate, and not bring this up until you have more evidence.
