IX. Inequality

Satyrn burst through the door of the enormous spire and saw Stateran soldiers waiting for her. She charged in. Sylver and the others followed close behind. The only real way to describe the scene was that of the most chaos you can imagine. Perhaps not even Discord could muster enough power to create any more mayhem. Everypony fired into the sea of soldiers; bodies dropped one by one. Satyrn and Sylver kept back to back, methodically blasting each enemy they could.

“REMEMBER THE PLAN?” Satyrn screamed to the captain over the onslaught of energy blasts.

“KILL THE KING?” Sylver shouted in reply.

“GOOD ENOUGH”

Through the sea of projectiles and explosions, they pushed up to the stairwell, killing every Stateran soldier in the room. Most of the Task Force survived but a few fallen allies were lost in the mess of armour and blood.
