My word... no matter how horrific this story is I still like it. Probably because its written more like a propper horror story should. With quite the bit of suspense and a good twist ending. :) well written bronius maximus ^__^
Normally I would avoid a post story titled "Big Mac Is a Serial Killer" like the plague.

First off - it WAS fairly well written, and the characters felt fairly true to the series. (with the obvious exception). I gave it a thumbs down anyways, and as per your request - I'm telling you why.
I read it hoping it WASN'T Mac was a killer - that with the "slice of life" and teen tags it was more a comedic misapprehension of what was going on than a murderfic. And for most of the story - it could have gone either way.
You'd figure the smell of blood would be pretty distinctive, though.
I've never been a fan of "random character being a psycho murderer" plotlines. And as the "thumbs system" is merely a "like/no rating/dislike" system, and I dislike such stories - it got a dislike. This dislike is more of a "distaste" than a hate. It *was* pretty well written, and my rating is a purely subjective review of the (overused) plot.

Oh, come on! Two weights, two measures? He killed ponies in cold spilled blood! APPLEBLOOM TASTED SOME! No matter who he kills, a killer is a killer! I mean, those two are assholes, but being assholes doesn't not equal deserving death. I can just see the reactions if he killed someone important. *sigh* The only killers I can get to like are anti-heroes.
Nonetheless, the pacing was good. Not perfect, but you managed to work in a nice twist ending. Good job.

Sorry, I can never get into "X pony is really a killer" plotlines. I just know Mac wouldn't do that. Plus, my over-inflated sense of justice won't let me like a story where the killer gets away unpunished. It was well written, but I just can't.
So, yeah, thumbs down. Sorry. Your one of my favorite authors here, but stick with shipping Mac with Dashie(OTP) instead of making him a killer.
