I just got a job from the Wonderbolts as a carrier, basically I just carry any luggage they can't carry for whatever bullshit reason, nothing much. But I've been given these strange tapes from some anonymous pony called, Mr. A, and they for whatever have recordings of my family from my Mom to even my Dad. I don't know what's going on with my family, but I know that something's wrong and I'm going to get to the bottom of this, no matter what.

One chapter in and while there's nothing really wrong with this story (aside from comma splice in the first sentence and some awkwardly-constructed sentences later), there are some odd quirks about it.
Lightning Dust doesn't exactly strike me as someone who'd give exact percentages of what letters she received. Also, given that two letters make 2% of all the letters she got, it seems that she got a hundred letters in two weeks. It's quite possible, especially in a pre-internet society, but what I find weird is that getting fifty letters with death threats doesn't seem to faze her at all. Unless she's that dead inside.
Hardly. A standard VHS tape holds about two hours of video, so it wouldn't take a whole night. Well, unless it's recorded as Extended Play, when it'd hold up to six hours of footage, at the cost of a huge quality loss, especially if the tape is old.
Guess it depends on the total amount of ponies on the planet whether the kid is exagerrating or not.

One, thanks for the information on how long a VHS tape can play for, I didn't know that, I just said, 'eh, VHS tapes fit with the story, so I'll use them' without doing any actual research. But one thing I will admit is that I originally called the VCR a VHS tape player. And the reason she isn't threatened by the death threats will be explained in a later chapter. And the quote about 12 million copies wasn't just exclusive to ponies, there are other races in Equastria, such as the dragons, the griffins, and other races I don't really care to list, and the one who said that was the wife, Streak Luster, not the kid, Blazer.
To be honest, I thank you and appreciate the time you took to put together you're critic, I will take these points you've made and make sure to implement them in my next chapters and stories.
