I don't know if it's the darker themes of this one, or what, but I think this one is less rereadable than the original.

I believe there are other things as well, beyond the darker tone, that make it kind of hard for me to reread this one, and those same things have also prevented me from going back to the original in a while as well.
However, I'm not going to say what specifically those are mostly because they have to do with headcanons and other stuff, and I don't think this is the right place to bring them up.

This is fucking great. Consensual hypnosis is my favorite, and it's something I feel doesn't get used (correctly) nearly enough.
10/10 for proper use of a safe word.

If I had read this one before the other, I'd have been upset/horrified.

Aww, this was wonderful. Always good to see BDSM that respects safewords & aftercare. Adding hypnosis to the mix makes it hotter, but really it's the caring relationship that makes this work.
