I woke up today and saw a picture of a fat Celestia with a sex tag. I was not ready for that this early in the morning. That being said......... fat Celestia be praised.
I think your math is off. Average weight for a six-foot woman is between 63 to 81 kilos. Scaled up to twelve feet, it'd be 508 to 653 kilos; over half a metric tonne. If Celestia is twelve feet and eight metric tonnes, then if you scale her down to six feet, she'd still be a whopping 1,000 kilograms. Last I checked, weighing nearly double the world record for "fattest person ever" is far and away from "only a little bit above average". I also looked up the image this fic was based on; that does not look like a (proportionate) one-tonne blob of blubber.
Don't get me wrong, I greatly enjoyed everything else about this story. It's just that I couldn't ignore those numbers.

average weight for a 6 foot human, yeah, but you see princess celestia is well above average and also she's a horse (albeit an anthro one). i had a fairly extensive conversation about this while writing this and ended up deciding that fuck it, ponies in this universe are superhumanly dense and weigh about as much as real horses. because it lets me use the bigger number you see.
