When Bruce Gunderson stepped into the Land of Equestria, all he wanted was to live a nice and peaceful life. However, the word 'Bruce' and 'peaceful' aren't actually known to be used together. Proven when the very embodiment of peace and harmony shattered when he stepped into that portal.
Now, he has to take the responsibility as the Protector of Equestria for destroying the elements.
Let's just hope that the Crystallized Singularities are a powerful enough substitute...

My style of writing usually consists of Domino and Butterfly Effect. That's why I always make sure to put extra realism in every part of my story. This way, some crazy stuff can happen without any character becoming OOC.

A few grammatical errors, but nothing I can't live with. Though they forgave Bruce way too quickly for my liking. Maybe a small court scene where he offers to protect Equestria in exchange for his freedom? Even that seems a bit rushed but it works better. Here's to better story and grammar in future chapters!
Before I continue this chapter. Human X {insert mane six here} is a BIG no-no for new writers. It's very hard to get right without it seeming like a selfinsert fantasy. Even Human X pony can be bad. My advice is to stay away from romance for the time being.
Okay, now I suggest some deviation from canon, while watching him interact with the mane six is fun, I think having something a bit more difficult happen would be good for the story, just a heads up

I know this is an old fic, but you should work on character interactions a bit more. While the events seems smooth and accurate, the way the characters react to it seems too well oiled, like they all know your plan for them. In this chapter you should've spent some more time on what they tried to get Spike to calm down, and what happened to make him like that. It's clear it wasn't the fireruby this time, so you should've shown the progression.

You're right by the way, they forgave Bruce too fast. But I think they forgave Discord too fast also, don't you think?
But in all honesty I just don't have the experience of writing a court or any formal situation, so yeah. You got me there.
Don't worry my friend, Bruce ain't gonna get any pairings. The only pairings you will ever find in this story is in the very last chapter, which is Trixie x Discord. The reason why Bruce isn't going to be paired with anyone is in the Hearts and Hooves Day special (The Crusaders of Love) Where he goes on a fake date with Rainbow Dash just to spite Twilight Sparkle... (Sweetie Belle's Idea). From then on everything is just platonic.
About the Butterfly Effect Chapter...
That one needs a lot of fixing. A lot of fixing.
