Since Twilight considers Luna her Mistress instead of the other way around I assume this is an interquel that takes place before chapter 3 of Taking The Sun I?
Twilight still considers Luna to be at the "top of the chain", so to speak, though Twi is so much of a pet as Celestia is. Chapter 3 of part one was intended to confirm to Luna that Twi can handle mistressing Celestia independently, as opposed to actually changing the pecking order.

Ohhh this was so good. Domming, but done well, all parties enjoying it, letting the Sub live out fantasies of helplessness and humiliation, while still having control and it all being consensual, taking steps that this doesn't hurt her and keeping it all just living out a fantasy. Love, respect and care all around, even while degrading and abusing her, all because it's what she really does want. Ohhhh this is just... soooo gooooooooood. A marvelous use of this set up, and a so very good sub/dom relationship and activities. LOVE IT!

Glad you enjoyed it! This was a pretty massive undertaking for just a single Commission. It took about three weeks all told from just drafting to finishing touches and publication, which I consider to be a considerable amount of time for something this size. I'm probably going to start breaking up projects this large into more than one commission, or at least do shorter chunks by chapter as the prequel was. But it's good to know that folks are having a good time with it
Gonna have to admit, I do not normally go for this fetish, but this was amazing. But do have one question? Since I’m still new to this type of thing, Luna and Twilght does not truly believe they are better than Celestia? It’s just, I guess, extreme role play. Sorry if the question may be naive but I admit I do not fully understand Celestia’s desire.

Mm, personally I felt this was borderline character breaking for Luna and Twi - the idea of ensorcelling the entire city against their will just for a birthday present (case in point - Luna's reaction to messing with the sun and the moon just for a party in the new pony movie). Initially I wasn't comfortable with that as an idea, but the patron gave me the leeway to at least put in a few justifications here and there, so we ended up coming to an agreement.
In terms of the fetish, no, they don't actually believe they are better than her. This is roleplaying. In Celestia's case (at least in the context of this story), Celestia is enjoying the idea of not having to be in control of her own destiny and that of an entire nation, as she has been pretty much every day of her life for a millennia. So their gift to her is 'a day without control'. The sex was put in because, well the patron wanted explicit content.

I really don't know if there's going to be any more of this. Depends on the patron and various related factors, but I'm a little backed up on commissions right now too, so it's hard to say.
