*standing ovation* While not an AppleSpike shipper, it was a touching scene between them, and while more of a MarbleMac shipper myself a lovely SugarMac moment... and I love the use of the song... 90's Don Bluth films are a guilty pleasure of mine which I feel no guilt enjoying.
A beautiful start... wait... sad and mystery tag... things start out very well... and its chapter 1...something is going to very, very wrong.
I actually know the origins of that. You see historically marriages were arranged often without the two being married having actually met, and sometimes the groom having seen the bride for the first time before the wedding and not liking what he saw called the wedding off, sticking the bride's family with the bride and she would be deemed unmarriable, and at that time was a financial burden to her father and/or brother(s) and it was observed that something ill befell grooms that elected to steal a look of their bride, so falling for the post hoc ergo pocter hoc fallacy and trying to keep a business deal (yes marriages were business deals, in fact the English word 'marriage' comes from an old word for 'merger' in the context of two businesses becoming one) in tack the superstition was developed and fostered.

Sour Grapes really lives up the name... why do I get the feeling that before Sour confronts Sugar she'll hear about Marble andat somepoint in the clash between Sugar and Mac, after Sugar brings the rock farmer up, Mac says something to the affect of 'Ah should have married Marble' in a fit of anger almost breaking Sugar Belle's heart in the process...

Poor Sugar Belle... The poor mare had an identity crisis that an abled a cult leader to strip her of what made her Sugar Belle, had to deal with a couple of stallions fighting over her without realizing the damage they caused until too late, and now magically poisoned by a 'friend' of her fiancee into thinking she's not good enough...
Well, as they say, misery loves company.
Why do I get the feeling that Applejack and Spike will soon figure out that all this started when Sour Grapes entered their lives?
