If you want to focus on to road you should try a dual clutch transmission. It's what race cars use. They're expensive, but they're worth it; they improve fuel economy, shifting times and reparation costs

Actually I am learning to drive in a car that has a clutch right now but so far I'm learning on the automatic function first, I may get to learn to use the clutch soon if I need to.
