Not sure, but I want to think that Twilight was the wise being.
Since Twilight already forgave Sunset, I bet Twinkle means Celestia... or the thing that is currently Celestia. That... that is going to be hard for her. It would be for anyone in her situation.
holy shit, did the apple family just evolve, well they did acquire a huge amount of exp to level up a few times.
More like a bulldozer, unless you wax your exterior.
That was... Incredibly cliche. But very well written.

a cliche is just a trope thats been overdone or poorly used....this is how you do the phoenix from the ashes trope right....which is kinda this stories whole point, if you havn't realized it...the entirety of the story of magics first law is a tale of redemption...for past mistakes, for the sins of those long gone, for gods and monsters....this is the tale of the redemotion and rebirth of an entire land...unironicly brought about, by of all things, a necromancer.
Looks like the Apple family has finally gone full dryad, as much plant as animal at this point. I'm glad to see them finally come to peace with their relationship with the forest. Their land was beyond merely 'blighted' if even spiders and earthworms weren't there anymore.

To be fair, healing effects can be considered necromantic effects. You certainly have it right, though, in that the story really seems to focus upon the righting of past wrongs, bringing the world back into balance.

I think so too... I mean, Twilight probably already realized that Celestia is corrupted. I think what the saying meant was that Twilight should HELP heal Celestia and not kill her.
So Twilight has really lived up to her name. From what happened, I hazard to guess that Twilight isn't just a necromancer but actually a reincarnated Death herself...
Im kinda don’t understand the process.
Does this mean that Apple family need to burn their home and sacrifice part of yourself to forest every generation or so?

Reading the story explains the story.
But if you still dont get it, things were going fine, a fire wiped out the elders who knew the details of their deal. Younger generation built a house instead of relying on the forest. This angered the forest, since they betrayed the deal. With the burning of the house they have reaffirmed their commitment to the deal and provided they dont build another house, will be fine.
Reading the story so far, I have to question your choice of tags for this. I can definitely understand Dark and Adventure, but not Tragedy. Reading up to this point I can see Mystery being more justified than Tragedy since the story has been mostly about Twilight's search for answers about what happened a thousand years ago and answers to the mysteries around her friends' circumstances. Only reason I can think of for a Tragedy tag would be that you were just laying it out there that the ending will be very unpleasant.
u know, when i was re reading this part
it got me thinking, and i heard...

Oh yes, because losing your family and dying isn’t Tragic at all...
I mean, did you not read the first few chapters or something?
Damn this was an awesome chapter Jest.

Now this is what I expected Applejack to be from the start.
Big Mac can't be Pensive! I'm Pensive!

I had held off on reading this story for so long, because I'm not fond of super dark stories. But damn, so far this is amazing.
It's surprisingly lighthearted, at least as lighthearted as you can be with this kind of subject matter. The parts with Applejack seemingly dying brought a tear to my eye.
