SoullessDCLXVI

If at first you don't succeed, redefine success.

T

Spike is an unusual dragon, and a hard working creature. Dragon infants his age have never been known to speak or walk. Dragons of any age have never been known to show loyalty to ponies. And yet Spike is devoted to a fault to his motherly and caring pony employer. Head over heels for a fashonista pony who's very being goes against dragon nature. What is so different about the only dragon to walk among the ponies? What does his future hold? And why does Princess Celestia seem to have a vested interest in him? These questions have itched the back of Twilight's mind for sometime now. And she may not like the answers.

Interesting.

Wow Celestia is pretty dark in this story. Murdered Spike's mother and all his siblings for a dragon egg and placed spells on everypony involved that would kill them if they spoke any kind of word about what happened.

This is a very interesting story. I liked it.

Oh boy...I think Twilight's got an idea.

Hmm. Bred to serve...
Celestia is clearly more warlike. Or at least more willing to go into battle. Either she wants to take over dragonkind. Or have personal draconic soldiers.

Tyrrolestia strikes back.:trollestia:

Bucky:rainbowlaugh:
I liked that one!

You got my attention with this one.
Wonder what Twilight and/or Spike (or Emerald) will do when they learn the truth about his mother. :twilightoops:

1964055 Personaly, I'd be more worried about Rarity. She has rather impressive rage when it comes to anyone trying to hurt Spike or her friends.

Unfortunately Twilight will assume that she is the guilty pony instead of one of the innocent bystanders. :fluttershysad:

1964501
True, she doesn't like Twilight calling Spike by his given name...
Now I'm more anxious for the next chapter:raritydespair:

Btw, am I noticing some Bucky/Spike relation?:trixieshiftright:

Looks like Celestia isn't happy that her servent/pet project is basically killing itself.:ajbemused::twilightangry2:

Bitch Tyrant Celestia? has being a while since i last read a fic featuring her like that, NICE!

Yeah Celestia ain't happy about her dragon slavery project being found out. She of course would let Twilight believe it was her that caused Spike to be the way he is.

So Celestia found out already? I hope Twilight on't be in much danger.

So Spike is crazy and enslaved. Things are not looking good for him at all. I sure hope that after Spike, Twilight, and the rest of their friends have plowed their way through this darkness he will have some defining moment of heroism.

Anurism *Zap* ANURISM *ZAP* HAHAHA I Am YOUR GOD

Looks like Celestia ain't happy with how her slavery project is going.

Trollestia is at it again.

Damn, Celestia is one vindictive bitch! :pinkiegasp:
It's like she enjoys handing out the death threats even after her point was made many times over... :facehoof:

Tia willed be mighty pissed if her secrets were to get loose.

Wow. In case spell cast really dies, I hope she at least humiliates Bitchlestia.

i...think i shit myself....:twilightoops:

Splendid, a good old fashioned Tyrant Celestia story! These used to be a dime a dozen back in the day, but we barely see any, let alone one as well done as this one, anymore. I particularly like how this story makes Celestia very passive aggressive with her death charms, it gels very well with her canon mannerisms, I think.

1980913 You up for the good old game of, "Kick the Sun, Put up the Moon" with me?:pinkiehappy:

I'll bet anything once Celestia finds out Twilight thinks that her hatching Spike caused him to be this way, Celestia will just go on letting twilight think its all her fault. Wonder what they're gonna do to Spike after the evaluation on the slavery changes made on him are completed.

for some reason I thought this was a "Dragon-Pony project" as in a way yo know more about dragons, but now I think Spike is actually some kind of secret weapon of Celestia or something

1) Strap him to chair

2) Beat him until he know's he's a dragon

3) Enjoy sandwich

Done. He should do that
:moustache:

Yeesh, Fluttershy seemed a bit bitter with the 'bitch' comment. And by bitter I mean out of character, kindness generally means being forgiving.

2007046
It might be a dragon-pony project, with Spike as the first test subject.::raritydespair: If successful, the genetic variations would be introduced into the next generation of dragons (magic darts loaded with retro-virus:pinkiesick:) ultimately making dragons more pony-like in attitude. It might take generations (pony generations) but Celestia has the time.:trollestia:

2007940 She's not so much insulting, as she is stating a fact, I think. Fluttershy is merely acknowledging Applejack's behavior while fully expecting her to snap out of it. She doesn't blame Applejack, but neither does she like her current attitude. She's waiting patiently for her friend to apologize. So the offhand 'bitch' comment makes sense to me.

2007994 Meh, I guess I should trust yer opinion, it just doesn't seem like someone being a bitch is a f- whatever, i'm just gonna argue probably, it's probably not too important to the story either way, liked it aside from Fluttershy's attitude.

I've been on FIMfiction most of the night (working as a security guard, I prefer to study other things, but staying awake takes precedence) and this has probably been one of the best stories I read tonight. Can't wait to move onto the other chapters.

2041585 High praise, indeed. Thank you.

This is getting good.

Can't wait for more!

I suppose there are worse ways to react to a freakin dragon knocking on your door.

I'll be lauging if that dragon turns out to be his father.

A knocking dragon, one of things you don't see every day. I hope he isn't selling volcano insurance.

Spike has already had his fill of dragons. I have little hope that he will respond well to this one. :unsuresweetie:
I can't wait to see Twilight's response to accusations of kidnapping. She will not take that well ... at all... :twilightangry2:

I like the fact that Spike/Emerl(I don't care what anyone says, I say that he's named after the best chibi, skill copying, kick butt robot ever)

Anyways,I like how he wasn't intentionally staying away from a part of his NEEDED diet, but just didn't realize that he NEEDED it! That's just like me. I've never been good at keeping track of how much I eat/what I eat, so I just eat a bit of everything to ensure I don't get sick. All in all, this was a very realistic thing for a child his age to do.

Well, nice to Spike is still awesomely sarcastic. I mean, three seconds in and he abuses the doctor patient confidentiality. This will be most interesting.

Basil just can't catch a break.

Wow... This is a filler? To me this seems like a full blown story. You want awsome, well here it is. This story is great, very touching with that hint of psychological madness that must accompany all stories. Now trust me when I say I'm a lazy bastard but even I get in the hour or so of writing, rewriting, and proofreading everyday, it's not much but it's something more than nothing.

Lesson for the day ... Do NOT under Any circumstances Truly and Deeply Piss Off the Element of Magic ...
bad things happen ...

And yet, I have to wonder what talking in colors would sound like.
