But you're still using pony art for a non-pony story. I'm almost certain that's where a lot of the downvotes are coming from. I've seen others make the same mistake. I took a glance at the story, and it's written decently enough to not warrant such a high amount of downvotes, even for a niche fetish such as this. To be honest, no cover art is better than bad cover art. People downvote for the smallest of reasons, after all. As a fetish writer myself, it's crucial to present your work as best as you can.

Coming from you, I know that that is important. I always try to choose the best cover art for my stories; either by editing existing pics or choosing one that relates to it well. I'd be quite surprised if they are judging it based on the picture. Naturally, I assume most people here aren't interested in the fetishes in the fiction.

Maybe commission something cheap from an artist? The damage is already done for this fic, as I doubt people are going to come back and check on it to remove their downvote. I tend to base my stories around pieces of art that I feel I can use for a story, so I don't usually have this problem. When I do, I find someone to commission.
