The 8th installment of the "Royal Canterlot Family" series. Based on “Jack and the Beanstalk” and “The Pied Piper”. Plans for a wedding get interrupted when children across Equestria are being kidnapped and a war threatens to erupt. Does it have something to do with a giant cloud in the sky?

I doubt the route you will take will be what I am about to say, but just consider it food for thought. Sombra has seen one of his daughters kidnapped in front of him, the rest cursed not unlike him and then kidnapped, nearly lost an adopted daughter, witnessed his sister-in-law become her worst self, his niece was cursed... and so many other events, now his great-grandchildren were abducted in the middle of the night after his grandniece's wedding was crashed, yeah he's gotta be peeved to the point he starts shifting to his more monstrous state...

I just realized something. Is the deal with Mischief going to be like the episodes of Full House where Jesse gets married?

I am very much pleased with how my OC has been handled thus far. And odds are I will enjoy the rest of his involvement in this story, to whatever extent that is. Infact, CartoonNerd and you are hereby permitted to use him as either of you want to in any of your works.
So, when are they going to figure out that Pony Pan and Windy are Sky Stinger and Vapor Trail? I don't know what the director and the acrobat's names are, but if you want suggestions, here you go:
Director: Barnum, Bailey, Ringling, Grayson, Vitaly
Acrobat: Soleil, Fly Bar, Catch Trap, Robin, Somersault
Barnum, Bailey, Ringling, and Soleil are from names of different circuses. Fly Bar and Catch Trap are trapeze terms. Robin and Grayson are references to a very famous fictional circus family from DC comics. Somersault is pretty self-explanatory. Vitaly is the name of the Russian circus tiger from Madagascar 3.

Well one of the adults did pluck one of the star fruit without asking and another promised that each of the other kids would also get a star fruit without asking. If it were me, I would want to get the affair done with as soon as possible and hopefully in the excitement no one would remember the promise and they would all leave. A guest can abuse a host's hospitality

He doesn't even actually own the star fruit trees. The trees belong to Paradock, and the island seems to share everything it has with its protectees, assuming that it's sentient, so technically, the fruit is public property, and Silver Tongue has no right to be hoarding them. I mean, no one gets mad at people getting produce from a community garden, provided that they leave plenty for everyone else.

Not sure how the bubbing relationship will work out, but there is a half-draconequus-half-pony, half-draconequus-half-alicorn, a half-dragon, a quarter-pony-three-quarters-dragon, and a half-changeling-quarter-draconequus-quarter-pony hybrid... but dragons are known to have half-dragon offspring and draconequi ... well, they just don't make sense.
I might be reading a little too much into this.

All kidding aside though, I'm so happy with how this chapter turned out. I can't guess for the life of me who or what the Monarchs are based off of unfortunately. Also, why does that female draconequus you spoke of feel like an impending self-insert? 
Yay! The story's finally returned, and with a pretty good chapter to boot!
I continue to be incredibly amazed by Paraddock, and now, not only do we have some new parts of the area, but we've even met a new race, and learned of said race's backstory. Once again, this is doing some incredible world-building with this place. Although, I can't for the life of me guess what the inspiration for the Monarchs is. But now, our heroes' goal is clear: to find this mysterious draconequus and find out what's happening with the Fairies' Crystal Heart.
Overall, this was an enjoyable chapter, and I patiently wait for the next one!
I think I know the cause, Captain Hoof and the rivalry between him and Pony Pan... Am I close?
