Set in an alternate universe where everything is the same but not at the same time.

In this universe Princess Luna isn't returned back to normal, leaving Princess Celestia to move both the Sun and Moon.

Everything else is the same aside from Nightmare Moon is working with dragons, and there being nine Elements of Harmony.

Some Interludes may feature mysteries, and there is some futuristic things. Unfortunately there could only be three genre tags.

Set in an alternate universe where everything is the same but not at the same time. In this universe Princess Luna isn't returned back to normal and Cadence doesn't exist. Princess Celestia moves both the Sun and Moon. Everything else is the same aside from Nightmare Moon still being imprisoned in the Moon, and Queen Chrysalis not existing in this universe.

You should really consider re-wording this, it's very cluttered. Not to mention, more confusing than it needs to be with the lack of spacing. :unsuresweetie:

I just found the explanation of the synopsis a bit too simple. Go for some style, and drama points man!

Hey there. Certainly willing to give this story a fair chance. Of course, I'm curious as to who's going to end up in charge of the Crystal Empire after Sombra is defeated (since you said the only real differences between this universe and canon are that Luna doesn't get redeemed and neither Cadance nor Chrysalis exist), but that's not going to be an issue until Season 3 anyway.

Of course, given the rating and the "Dark" and "Gore" tags, I'm guessing that, among other things, Nightmare Moon's challenges are going to be quite a bit tougher than in canon and Discord is going to be played closer to the Joker with Mxyzptlk's powers when you get to THAT. Though I will admit I COULD be wrong about THAT.

But I digress.

I'll definitely be looking forward to more of this, but will be quite willing to be patient.

I completely forgot about Sombra when making this story but I'll have it covered.

Okie-dokie. That's fair enough.

Perfectly understandably. Anyway, I'm going to guess that the seventh Element is something along the lines of either Wisdom, Courage, Forgiveness or Hope . Anyway, I would respectfully advise you don't make this TOO faithful to the series. I mean, yeah, some series faithfulness is good, but be sure to include enough of your own touches to where you have some justification making this an alternate universe.

And, at any rate, don't rush things too much. Work like this tends to be better quality when it is NOT rushed. I'll be looking forward to more, but I get that you might not get as much writing time as you like.

Not much I can say that you might still be rushing through this a little too much. The action, thus far, is good and the couple of extra trials is an intriguing touch but, so far, the CANON trials still play out TOO similar to - well, canon. Maybe Nightmare can toughen up the final four trials to make the heroes' victory look more well-earned (such as setting extra traps at each trial, putting the sea serpent in a more dangerous situation that requires a sacrifice A LOT more meaningful than a self-haircut to fix and trying to use mind control on Rainbow Dash at the bridge instead of merely trusting the "'Shadowbolts'" ruse to tempt Rainbow into abandoning her friends [though Rainbow still finds the sheer will to overcome the brain-washing attempt when one or more of her friends is in a really bad spot due to the aforementioned extra traps]).

Still, I DO like the touch of Spike actually tagging along here and already getting to help out in a couple of ways.

At any rate, I WILL be looking forward to more, but will also be quite willing to be patient.

Once again, thanks very much for going to the effort to share this chapter with us. I must say, though, right now, it's STILL running a little TOO similarly to canon, I can see you ARE working in SOME effort as far as differences are concerned (i.e. the added detail as far as Rainbow's trial went AND the fact the Elements manifest themselves as full armor, in addition to the indication that Nightmare Moon is intent on at least NOT going down without a fight).

At any rate, I will very definitely be looking forward to more of this, but will also be more than willing to be patient.

That was one doozy of a final battle. I LOVED seeing some signs of the Element Bearer's new abilities in play. And I also loved seeing Spike get in some moments of heroism. And, yeah, it was a bittersweet ending, but at least Nightmare Moon is defeated for now. Anyway, this is finally looking like a significant difference to canon without being too much of a downer. I'll VERY definitely be looking forward to more of this, but will also be quite willing to be patient. After all, I get that real life concerns have to come first AND inspiration is not always easy to come by.

Again, this is a pretty well done chapter. The action, exchanges and characterizations are pretty well done and, well, these ARE some pretty intriguing developments.

I am going to be very interested to see where this will be going, but I will also respect the fact that real world concerns have to come first AND inspiration might not always be easy to come by.

Hey there again. Thanks very much for getting the next chapter up. Again, good job providing a careful balance between episode faithfulness and your own touches. I particularly liked the end scene even if I can't shake the feeling that the Gala is going to end up an even bigger mess than in canon. Oh well, at least this time, I have a feeling that Nightmare Moon and/or her minions are going to end up being at least half the reason the Gala will go badly .

At any rate, I will very definitely be looking forward to more, but will also be perfectly willing to be patient.
