Flutters, Would You Go On A Date?

Afterwards

I trotted along side my marefriend. We were heading to Sugarcube Corner to tell our friends about our unexpected love story and how we were dating.

Our first date was a couple days ago. We had a second date last night, in which we decided to tell our friends.

"Pinkie Pie? Fluttershy? Darlings! What is the big announcement? And why do you look clos~ oh dear Celestia!" Rarity gasped.

"What is it now, Rares? Are you freaking out about Fluttershy's mane or something?" Rainbow asked, rolling her eyes at Rares.

I had the feeling that Rarity already knew what we were going to say. I didn't like the look on her face.

"What is is Rarity?" Twilight asked, trotting into my home.

"I.. I would rather not say." She put a fake smile on.

"If ya say so." Applejack said.

My friends all sat down at a table. Me and Flutters sat down a few seconds after.

"Now, girls, please don't hate us, or ~" I interrupted my marefriend.

"Or make a big deal." I added and then let her continue.

"About this. We are, well, Pinkie? A little help?" She asked.

"Oh yes! Well, we ~"

"Are dating." We finished together.

"I knew it!!!!" Rarity burst out.

"Well, that was, unexpected." Rainbow deadpanned.

"Indeed." Twilight agreed.

"But what do you think?" Fluttershy asked.

"Well," They gathered around in a group. "We all think it's marvelous." Rarity said, everypony nodding.

"Thank you! Thank you so much!" I said, hugging them.

"Why would you think we would hate you?" Twilight questioned.

"Classical Twily." Fluttershy said.

"I think I'm rubbing off on you!" I giggled.

"Maybe you are. Hey! Maybe you will make me louder!" Flutters exclaimed in her shy way.

We all laughed. Imagining a Pinkiefied Fluttershy was impossible.

"Who wants to get a treat and hang out?" Rainbow asked.

"Sure!"

"Of course!"

"Yeppie!"

"Okay."

We all headed to the kitchen to find the cupcakes.
