Scootaloo is absent from school, causing worry for Apple Bloom and Sweetie Bell. When she returns the next day, she is not the proud and enthusiastic filly they know her as. With great concern Apple Bloom and Sweetie Bell approach Scootaloo after school.
What could be so bad that it would make their strong and brave Scootaloo cry?

I'm glad you all are enjoying the first page to my story, I had this story idea roll around in my head for a while before starting to type. Those crusaders are rather relentless when I have them running in my head.
It does seem like I'm hitting my goal with this first page, I was aiming for a story that no one expected. Hopefully I can keep up on keeping you folk on your toes. The next part is in the wood works, I just couldn't wait to get this story started for ya' all so hopefully I don't keep you waiting for long.

The entire time I was like her parents are dead...her parents are dead... but then it turns out that she's moving! That was the last thing I thought of! And this seems really good too. I'm glad I found it, I can't wait to see what the next chapter holds!

Sometimes even us parents can't exactly see that our children need more help, support. I understand her pain, it probably hurts like daggers to the heart. I wouldn't have the heart to do that and reason that 'it's just a phase'.
I'm expecting much out of this, you hear? I'm also expecting her to snap at her father. I can almost hear her screaming. "But your never home dad! How can you know how I feel if your never there to actually KNOW me?"

In truth, the Flashback also surprised me... cause it kinda just happen.. one moment it's one in the morning when I decided that I should make the flashback, and the next thing I knew It was four in the morning when I completed the flashback and I had to get up at eight. It's funny how inspiration strikes you and I feel that I kinda like how her parents are coming out, especially with the father's song... I had to stop for a moment to squee. If it ain't too spoilery, I do see this fic becoming a eye opening experience for Scootaloo's parents.
I hope I can match your expectations, I'll try my best. And Don't worry, Scootaloo is a bit of the blunt type.

This has to be my all time favorite crusader story. So far I've loved all three chapters and it has such an original plot too. Its so great! I have absolutely nothing to say about it. You're doing an amazing job.
