Comrade Bagel Muffin

I'm the reason when you search Quibble you'll find Scootaloo too. PM me if you want to talk about anything one on one. Well I finally set up a patreon...Hazaa???

Twilight has traveled to the border of the Dragon lands and Equestria to see her number one assistant as he makes a journey that she can't follow him on. I admit I was shooting for a pure tear jerker on this one.

Made Popular on 06/04/2017 Merci Everybody for my first "popular" story!

8209345 Merci I take it I got a tear jerker.

8209350 yes it is, You need to find a few missing words here and there. But it is a tear jerker,
orig02.deviantart.net/a30d/f/2017/055/2/7/fashionably_resting_by_hillbe-db0abdt.jpg

A bit too short, needs a bit of editing, but a good tearjerker nonetheless.

8209382 Merci. Yerp just powered through it on after a hard day.

This is the reason immortality always get discarded by people.

8209377 About five places in the story it's missing a word in the sentences.

You can quickly see them stand out when you read the each of the paragraphs from the bottom upward. (a trick to check for missing words I use on myself when proof reading)

8209436 ??? I'm not sure I understand you my friend.

8209446 I mean that immortality is a bad thing and people always criticized this concept.

8209456 Not so I long for the day I stand on the shores of the crystal sea, however immortality on earth, or in this case Equestria, in which you live a life away from the divine, forever. Well that's nearly the definition of hell now isn't it. Religiously speaking anyways. Secularly immortality is a curse because all things decay and fade. No matter what you do if those you love aren't exceptions to this rule like you are then you're going to suffer one way or another.

8209439 It's midnight but I think I got them.

Wow... just wow... :'(

Congrats on reaching the popular bar!

8209574 its a tear. I cried... slightly.

The bad thing is the errors in some areas kinda take me away from the story itself and stories like this specifically rely on drawing people in. So when I run into those areas it's like, I'm getting interested.... annnnd speed bump, y'know? What you need is a proofreader my dude, if you're ever in need of something like that I can help.

Otherwise, I thought was pretty good.

8209613 Merci
8209616 Oh okay
8210044 Sorry written late after long day of work could you tell me what speed bumps you hit so I can level them?

8210153 Sure, I'll send you a PM, I always hate long-post that are sent in the comments section about that sort of thing.

8211285 So I can take it that there are a bunch.

8211448 Yes. I'll take that as a success.

Great sad story! Though there are so many fics about this subject, and all of them are good, this is still a standout. :fluttercry:

Okay, it's taken me far too long make this comment

Immortality... isn't always fun. Especially for someone like Twilight who is so... attached. All this time and she's still quite a bit mortal in her thinking. I'm fearful for how she will cope now that Spike is gone. It feels like it's more than just loosing a close friend/family member. She feels like she's loosing one of her anchors. The worse part is his death is reminding her of what she once had, in her 'first' life you could say? Back before she had to face the immortality fully. So yeah, I'm worried about how she will cope now that Spike is gone.

Aside from that, the story was good. Touching and pretty sweet at the same time. Like Spike's collection of totally-not-dolls,

8224834
How does that first part take away from the story? Could you elaborate a bit?

8224840 No, I'm not saying the first part takes anything away. That's what I take away from the story. Or at least the emotions I suspect.

8225987
Okay, that was what I was going for. Sorry I didn't understand

TEARS!!! SO MANY TEARS!!!!

8318715
this is the 2nd storie i`ve read where Spike dies of old age and Twilight friends are all dead,

8318727
I do my best not to read them, I didn't know that was what this story was when I clicked on it.

8318737
naw its fine, good story

8318750
did you see the basic shape of the book?

so ... uff that was hard to read, I almost got a tear

10064830
Well I'm glad that I almost got a tear from you. In a happy kind of cathartic way. Hope you really enjoyed it.
