Another new story! what happened to updating the ones you’ve already started?
Your story needs heavy editing. Too many names and its hard to figure who's who. Also alot of the story is jumbled and seems discontinued add to this confusion without the history being more descriptive and maybe explaining things in ''Cadences'' thoughts its hard to grasp the situation and what is happening.

I would appreciate a link to any information you can provide about the winniverse beyond the naming. While I am capable of looking it up, and I know there are people less skilled in research than myself who would complain even if there was a link (much less take the effort to click on it), I feel in this instance "it's right there" and would take less than thirty seconds of effort to do something that makes the story more understandable conceptually.

Good intro, but there are a few times it jumps from first person to 3rd back to 1st person again. ie:
"With a quick Flap of her wings I was in the air and decked one guard."

I say that it was one hell of an info dump and I find Lance's logic highly flawed.
So with that being said I sigh for what had caught my complete attention now I barely does.

Well by "infodump*" I meant wow that's a lot to take in in one chapter.
Now for the logic part it's more I feel it's flawed but I could be wrong, basically I understand that after they died shit hit the fan HARD and a lot of backstabbing happened, then Celestia had to step in to in a way clean up the mess and now they mad at her because of that, when all their family/comrades took it too far to begin with.
But hey what should I know I have yet to come up with a cohesive backstory to my first and only OC.

Is Lance a bit harsh, maybe. However she does have valid points why disband all clans but the Kickers, not every clan did horrible things and the earth ponies were roughly split. In the end of conflict only the unicorns government remains, funny that.
I kinda like what you're doing here...it doesn't break cannon for Cadiance to be cool with Celestia, I don't remember any scean in the show where Cadence was very close or warm with Celestia...not as hostle as in this stage of this story, but there room for a professional relationship to develop. Also explains why the Cadence keeps the Crystal Empire as its own separate legal entity and not 'just' another city in Equestria.
Of course it's going a bit wierd when you bring Shinning Armor into the plot (what year is?) In this world will they also meet in high school?
