What got me was Twi (and crew) was actually "working" in the GIFs and redoing their episodes. Its one kind of mindfuck when you think the characters are aware and acting in all of their depiction that a "user" see or make.
Like, their entire society exist to do just that?
And they also see the user at the same time too.

I have to agree. This was a great, short story. But if the characters could actually see the viewer or rather us the whole time we were watching or looking at pics of them, it'd be scary but also...pretty cool when you think about it.

I found my old 'brony music' folder, that I didn't touch in years, and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ixvsV-ahI0 is one of my favourite songs.
I've had these '4th wall breaking' ideas for a while now too. It's kind of funny now that I think about it, this is what happened;
Bendy's 'Being shipped' > makes me think about the 'they know we watch them' headcanon > Toymaker's creation trapped inside a crystal ball > and then an Anon posted this image
So, yeah, it was a series of improbable events that lead me to write this.
Also I didn't dig too deep into 'this' specific headcanon, but here's what I was thinking of; 'every screen is an entire dimension' and they live and work in there, so there's actually as many Twilight as there are screens showing her. Or at least, looking at her. Maybe we could go the Toy story route and make them do whatever they want when nobody watches.
That could be funny too now that I think about it. I'm not going to write that tho.
