Roleplaying is not allowed on Fimfiction. This includes carrying out RP scenarios with other users and acting out online personas. This ban applies to all site functions including PMs. Consider using email or an IM client, the UI is better suited for these tasks.

I'm pretty sure doing this is not a good idea.

Reading about it, I think the Fic itself is fine, since it is a full story, instead of an active, ongoing Role Play.

The problem is roleplaying on user pages, blog posts, and the like, where it can end up with tons of messages being posted in a short time, causing performance issues. I will have to see about moving future RPs offsite though, instead of through IM, now that I know.

8153132 Correct, stories can and have been adapted from greentext and roleplay in the past. But you cannot just call it roleplay in your title, that's lazy. Make a story out of it, then it's fine. Fimfic doesn't care where the ideas come from except of course for outright plagiarism. That's also a no no.
