Ya plan a story about the Crystal Empire or Twilight?

I can't rightly say. Let me tell you why.
First, this is actually the first FoE story I made, and while I like to consider myself a first generation fan of FoE, I still ignore many details that the original authors made. That leads to the second reason.
Stories of such events already exist. Incomplete, but they already exist. About the Crystal empire, there are two stories, one official, and the other, while not being important to the canon, is still within the Crystal empire.
As for Twilight, it already exist another one, also incomplete.
Don't rightly know if these guys will still go on with their stories, and I'm still kind of new to this of writing FoE. I could talk to them and see if they grant me permission to continue their stories (which i doubt, due to my lack of experience and how zealous of their work some of them are), or I could start ones of my own, with the risk of not making them as FoE-esque as the originals (which would ruin the whole fandom).

I already asked Poprocks a while ago about Twilight Falls, and this is the answer i received:
I understand that some authors are zealous of their job, and are also annoyed by how insistant their fans are. Not to mention the fact that he/she (i don't rightly know what) is a full time artist, though lately hasn't uploaded anything. Lately, the only one still active (sorta) is the author of the cover image, Ponkpank, who's working at the moment in both, a story of Celestia during the time of her training to become Sunslut, not to mention that he's also making a series of comics about said matter, too.
There's also another author who made the story of Big Mac and Applejack, already finished, and working now in a story post-fall, focusing on Dainn's son.
There's this other one who's working in a parallel story to the Apples' story about a mixed community of Ponies and Caribou coexisting in peace.
As you can see, despite being around almost 4 to 5 dozens of works of the FoE universe, the are even less fans every time, mainly because this is a somewhat hated AU, not that I blame them, due to the... themes on it.
Whatever. Recently, anothe one started a third revolution on the FoE universe, and you can check, too.
I'll have to talk with some others, aside from Ponkpank, maybe even with non_creepy_nickname to see if i'm able to do another thing. Will see, then.

Fall of Cadance is highly unlikely to get finished at all. Poprocks claims she's not a writer and didn't want to continue, if memory serves. Talk to NCN, ask him what he thinks. He's been pretty quiet for a while now, it would be nice to hear something again. Show he's not dead or what have you.

Alright, so good news and bad news. The bad news are that NCN is WAY too closed and silent to answer anything from his fans (not that i can say anything about it), and will not answer my messages. I've already sent other messages to Poprocks and the one with Twilight Falls, so lets hope for an answer.

Most of this info was given to me via chat with Ponkpank. Said he'd talk to him more closely, but due to him wanting peace and serenity on his life, he's not receiving troublesome fanmail. Once again, not that i blame him.

You know, if there's anything you're not sure of about the setting, you can just make things up. You're a writer, be creative. It's easy for people to have their passion for this setting burn out, or simply got sidetracked by other things.

Maybe, and could be true. But the objective is to try and go with the flow of Ponkpank's universe, just to try and give more continuity to the original timeline.
this would never have happened. the caribou's magic would've failed the moment they got into the border of the changeling kingdom and the changelings would've overrun them.
heck, even the whole magic field they were spreading to corrupt anything in sight to their sexual ways wouldn't get there because it's magic too and would stop working once it reached the border.

There's a point where even in smut things don't make sense. You can't just use the excuse "I do what I want"/"It happens because I want to" all the time because it's actually bad writing.
I would think Dain would give Chryssie to Thorax as a gift.
