Not seeing a romance tag so hopefully this doesn't turn into an incest ship. I really liked seeing Sunset confront her friends on befriending the Shadowbolts. I think it gets to a difference between human and pony values. Ponies would only not befriend someone if there was a good reason to.
I hope Sunset gets Princess Twilight's opinion on this.

Fascinating. So I suppose that we can either infer that Sundance married a different Mare on the other side, or since Sunset hasn’t mentioned her mother at all it was the pony version of Abacus but she either left him or died before Sunset’s memories began to develop. That last one assumes that Sunset and Sunburst were born within short order of each other and is more unlikely given that Sunset would likely wonder who her mother was before this point. Either way the train wreck has started, let’s see what kind of damage it does.

As this seems to be on permanent hiatus I'm not even going to bother finishing the chapter.
Cinch? Cinch has canonically always been portrayed as someone old enough to be a grandmother, great-grandmother even. Having her be the mother of a high school student is kind of a stretch for me.
I've liked the story up to this point so I'm going to watch for updates.
Man, her friends ain't gonna be happy when sunset and sunny hook up.
