That was pretty good! The build-up and descriptions were super well done and, although I knew what was coming due to the horror tag, the twist was done perfectly! Reminds we of a creepypasta. Although, if Rarity knew the entire time that it wasn't Opal, why did she call it Opel...... Oh, wait! She was pretending it was Opal to trick herself so she wouldn't panic! Genius!
I also appreciate that this was a horror story without any... explicit content, like pointless gore and torture. It was simple and subtle. I love it! Have a favorite and a like, my friend.
I don't quite get it, but it set my heart into a bit of a flutter. Good enough to give it a like.

traditional horror? What do you mean by that? As far as I'm aware, traditional horror is things like vampires! At least, I'm pretty sure that something that's coming from 1966 counts as traditional
That word count looks off. I'm not entirely sure if it is though, as I have no idea how the two word counts count the amount of words in a story, or even if they are both word counts. It's entirely possible that the one on the same line as the chapter title is actually a letter count as far as I know. Granted, there would still be something off about it
