Trixie's normal life of turning shows from town to town gets slightly difficult for her, so she decides to settle in Ponyville for some time. According to the law, her carriage is unfit for living, forcing her to vacate and find a new residence. It just so happens an apartment dweller is looking for a roommate. This perfect turn of events is too good to pass up for Trixie.

I have never seen this ship ever, but I am intrigued.
Not sure how I feel about the Trixie interrupting thing. It doesn't really take anything away from the story, and if you revealed that this was Rose telling the story to someone, it might actually add to it. On the other hand, without explanation it does make it seem like Trixie has random forth wall breaking powers.
And then you can't reveal that Rose is telling the story until the end, for dramatic effect.
But until then Trixie has unexplained powers.

Softer, Trixie, it's more effective.
Not keen on the weird, random interruptions, if only because this is almost entirely from Trixie's point of view, not Roseluck's. So, if this was Roseluck telling someone about how her and Trixie got together, it would be from Roseluck's pov, not Trixie's.
It's an interesting story, I like Roseluck, Trixie's wagon being unsuitable to live in is a bit odd, but not a big deal. Surprised she didn't get Starlight together for a weekend to just fix it up and call it a friend building exercise or something for the sake of her own pride.
Curious to see what happens next.
