This story is a sequel to My Little Pony: Lights and Shadows - Part I
Rumors have spread across all the land about attacks that have been made on Equestria, Griffonstone, and the Dragon Lands. With no explanation for these events, the griffons and the dragons have become primed for war. On top of this, Zecora has been missing for over a month, and many ponies have assumed the worst.
Twilight and her friends must stay true to their elements and help steer the world back onto a path of peace if any hope of finding Zecora is to be found.
While the ponies are distracted, the black dragon known as Stormclaw prepares to play out the second phase of his dark plan. With the help of Princess Twilight's greatest foes, his ambitions may become a reality, placing the fate of the world behind a single question:
Who is Shadow Light?
Shadow getting flashbacks, at this point, might prove to be enlightening, especially since that might be what Celestia had discovered up on that mountaintop, changing her attitude towards him that way. No sign of Discord yet, however. What's he up to, exactly?
As for Applejack, and the Mane 6 in general, they haven't even taken into account Chrysalis is still on the loose, adjacent to Zecora's disappearance. I suppose that gem has clouded some of AJ's senses when dealing with her sister's situation, which I can empathize. But I'm more concerned with why none of them even mentioned that possibility before they got the gems, which apparently do something to reverse their elemental capacities.
I'm now more curious as to what the dragon, formerly known as Gelder, really has in store?
And now, Starfall has a bit of drama of his own to deal with.

8086490 I've tried to imagine the stress placed on Twilight and the others is somewhat clouding their judgement of Chrysalis' possible involvement. Not in that she can't be involved, but that doing so would be extremely risky since she no longer has an army to back her up. Twilight knows Chrysalis to be quite cunning, and so the idea of her trying something like this on her own is difficult to imagine, and then beyond that, I doubt most anyone would imagine her teaming up with someone given her nature. As for the Mane 6, they are not yet aware that the five of them all received the crystals, but more on that is to come.

At last, Zecora has been found! I thought is was chilling to be reminded how it wasn't even truly her, at the very beginning of this. Now, even more bone chills commence, for these Crusaders. Here's hoping things don't turn south, on their journey northward.
Now, Stormclaw seems to have all his ducks in a row, for everything to go the way he expects, apparently. Or so he thinks. Excellent job, once again! Take care.
Everything and everypony has now scattered and fallen to pieces. Seems all is in place for that mischievous Dragon to destroy the world.
It's all now building up to become a very terrible fate for all in Equestria.
