Y'know, this might be the first time I've walked away from something with Cinch in it not wanting to punch her. Seriously, no villain on this show has been so consistent reviled. And she's not some world-destroying monstrosity from the depths of The Abyss. She's an ordinary human being who just happens to be an enormous thunder-cunt.
That, um...de-escalated quickly?
I find it pretty impossible to like Cinch generally, but this was still kinda nice.
I love this story it very well written and love how Cinch chnaged she lost everything, and gets one more chance for happiness, and did not blow it!
It's good she found a different more better means ot loving her lover, I'm sure Candance and shining had already consider elaving her Twilight was the final straw.
What she did with them wasn't love, nor lust but more of being on control, and assuring herself she was in charge, rather then let them in her heart.
Glad she realized a better way with Suri.

8062583 It's a long road ahead because a lady like her doesn't change overnight, but she's smart enough to know she's got a good thing going for her. I imagine eventually she'll be able to return Suri's feelings without hesitation, but it's like getting over a rough injury. She'll get there, but it'll take time.
8063662 I bet it's just as raunchy and naughty as you imagine! Cinch was the first Cadance/Shining Armor shipper in this world. When she looked into their eyes and said to herself "I'm gonna make them fuck for my amusement."
Okay, so, I know I already commented but I just had to make the joke about fluffy snuggle Cinch being more of a shocker than three foot futa horsecocks when this came out. I've only just now read it.
I'll preface by saying... I still hate EqG Cinch. I worked in academia, much of my family has their career in academia, the fact that someone who blackmailed and directly endangered students didn't just not get arrested but actually got to go back to teaching disgusts me.
ALL THAT SAID! I really liked this Cinch. The idea of old Cinch being a grumpy selfish Dom fits perfectly, and I LOVED how her defeat and (deserved) backlash had worn down her bitter exterior, just so she could be built back up again by a silly, naive, but sweet and loving young girl. Seeing this Cinch take the role of the experienced lover felt like a natural transition for her character based on her inner monologue and in the greater narrative.
You didn't fall into the tsundere trap either, at the end Cinch doesn't snap back to hard, in a lot of ways she's even more vulnerable than before (but in the good way).
You do great smut Drace, but you also write some damn fine romance!
This need a sequel, and now maybe Cinch snd Celestia csn exchsnge esch other some tips about lesbian relationships with dom/sub mechanics (Sci-Twi being Tia's sub)
