Quick question... How the hell do ya critically miss? Actually what does it do.

in the original fallout games, when you missed in an action, it had a chance to critcally miss.
for example: if you try to shoot a gun, and you critically miss, the gun can explode and damage you, or simply fall to the ground.
the intensity of the miss depends on a percentage that i don'tremember the details now

In the original Fallouts you'd either end up injuring yourself, your teammates or breaking/dropping the weapon you were using. You could take a perk similar to Chaos Conduit called Jinks that had the same effect but every combat encounter would turn into mass hysteria as folks fumbled for their guns and blew up teammates by mistake. Usually the best strategy would end up standing completely still and letting the enemy inventively kill themselves in some embarrassing manner.
