Modern Equestrian society had the awful habit of making victims out of all too many good ponies. That was what happened when both law and underworld crime tried to simultaneously enforce their idea of "social good." Fluttershy was one pony stuck in the middle—a victim of an unscrupulous gang but whom authorities were unwilling to aid. Where could one turn when the virtues of honor and chivalry seemed dead?
Based on Earthsong9405's Mafia!AU.

Thank you for reading!
8038498 You could do a lot with this storyline. We see Fluttershy, we know Rainbow Dash possibly works for Rarity. You should explore the other girls. Twilight the detective? Applejack the new in town hick? Pinkie Pie the callgirl?

This story is actually based on Earthsong9405's Mafia!AU, so the Mane 6's roles in this universe are already fleshed out. (Twilight really is a detective, and investigating Rarity, no less!) You can read more about it here.
8038588 based on, you can make it your own with a few tweaks.
It turned out so good, didn't it?
Even though it is based on someone else's work I'd love to see your particular spin on it continue. There is something special with your way of writing Rarity and Fluttershy that makes me want to see more of it.^^

Aww, of course you'd say that!
And it doesn't really matter where I go; I can't get away from the shy pone/fashion pone dynamic together. This, sadly, is a friendshipping universe, though.
I like it!
Fluttershy felt like they were on the same level. She felt it was so easy to talk with Rarity that it paradoxically felt foreign, as if they were meant to be friends long before but only managed to meet now and we're making up for lost time.
Really enjoy the story.
You should keep working with earthsong's univers.
So good. Wish there was another installment.
You can has review!
I just absolutely love the sleek feeling this story has. It captured good-hearted mafia perfectly.

Fascinating look at this world. Earthsong always makes quality AUs, and this is a fantastic presentation of one. Thank you for it.
A pure fun read from start to finish. It truly is a shame the story didn’t continue. Regardless, what we have is great. Like the rest of your work, I am impressed.
