Tracking this. I think I've got this first puzzle solved, but I'll wait until you post the next chapter to check my answer.
Well, I did solve it. I found it was easier to think of each label as a binary numeral, from 0 to 7. That way, they took up less space in my brain when I was checking to see which labels I'd already used.
I wasn't able to solve it myself, but I see that I had neglected to make connections that I should have made. Your reasoning is sound, and the puzzle was well constructed. Well done, Coyotek.

Uh...you fixed the wrong one. The logic is "but it can’t be NPP, since that would combine with phoenix feather to make a speed potion, not an anti-vitality potion. So it has to be either NNP or NNN."
