I'm sorry for the lack of updates to this story. A new chapter is coming soon, and I'm almost half way done with it.
The only problem is that I am currently in the process of moving to another city, and at the same time I'll be taking a vacation and visit my grandparents.
So, while I don't leave before next friday, I still have too much to do to feel at ease with writing. I'm going to try and at least finish the 'Our Years' chapter, which contains short stories from the five year leap, and I pretty much have the last chapter planned out. I can't say for sure how long I'll be gone, but I'll be back, and I'm going to finish this fic if it kills me. Cross my heart, hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye.
I can't say much about it, but I'm going to try and surprise you. Hopefully...

This is good, I enjoy the story overall and that Luna remembers first makes Tia seem absolutely adorable. That aside, it does feel short and could have longer chapters. Lengthening the chapters seems doable, but I leave that to you.

It's a chapter I'll be releasing once I'm back from vacation and get it done. I'll be trying to make it longer than other chapters, as others have commented that they'd like some more details in this story. Maybe one day I'll rewrite it completely...

The length seems to be a common factor for critique here, so I'll be trying to make the 5 year leap stories longer and a bit more in-depth. As I mentioned above, I'm considering a complete rewrite if time allows it. I'm quite happy with it, but it could possibly be 'more'. And thanks for reading it, it's always fun to get comments from the more established writers in here :3
998122 I find it funny to consider myself "established" as a fanfic writer. There are so many other writers who do a far better job than me that I really don't consider it too much. If we had the star rating system back then I'd have a better feel for if I was established or not. Something that might help with time lapse could be My Little Celestia which, in my opinion, does that sort of thing pretty good.

Well. In my opinion you're 'established' when you've been here a while, and has published several well liked stories.
I actually like the thumb system, even if it's flawed. It gives a better opinion on a fic than just stars. Though a lot of the really good fics I've read are way far down just because they do stuff like 'Romance' and 'Human' tags in the same area.
I'll give My Little Celestia a read. I started it once before, but didn't like the way Tia talked there... Oh well, time to man up and read it anyhow, the first chapter doesn't always give the story credit.
