I think the word that'd work better here is "races", though I think it could be argued that these are subspecies: they each have enough distinct features to warrant it. The only question is the whole reproduction thing - is it made possible because of magic (and so they're subspecies), or if the differences are reconciled by the genome somehow (and so they're races).
Please note that while there's some scientific debate over whether "race" and "subspecies" mean the same thing, I'm taking the cue from human use.
