Rated Ponystar

"You think you know me..."

E

What if there was another side to Rarity's cutie mark story? One that featured a special pony who inspired her to become who she is today? This is the story of their bond, their love, their last days together.

Wonderful! I think you did a great job explaining where Rarity got her dignified behavior, understanding of style and perfectionism. Also, right in the feels. That youthful ignorance is a surefire way to hit those heartstrings, and you excelled at portraying Rarity's. Please keep writing, I'll keep reading!

This is oh so very touching to the heart and soul!! I COULDN'T STOP CRYING FOR 10 MINUTES!!!! dl.dropbox.com/u/31471793/FiMFiction/emoticons/misc_Lyra_cry.png You are a great writer! SHINE ON!!

Also, don't forget the Alternate Universe tag for this story...

Poor Rarity and to think it happened just after she got her cutie mark. :raritydespair:

Wow, that was...sad.

I've been through what Rarity's been through, so this really spoke to me. Very sad, but I'm glad she was able to move on with her life.

Hey you deserve credit for helping me edit it. So thanks bro

Just amazing. It's great to read more about Rarity and part of what drives her to be the best designer she can.

Now if you'll excuse me, I must cry some more. :fluttercry:

A very beautiful and emotional piece of writing! This piece pulled at my heartstrings in a way very few other fanfics can :raritydespair:. I'de love to see this featured!
I can't wait to read your other works - bravo!

Lovely piece. It brought tears to my eyes.

Holy crow that was close! I was about to click favorite, and I hit Dislike by mistake!:twilightoops:
SO glad I fixed that. Like and favorite from me.

There is no way this wasn't featured upon being published, seriously. Please let that be true.

Now this is a story!!!!!!:pinkiehappy:

I didn't cry a river, I cried an entire ocean:raritycry:. This was too good, reminded me of my grandfather:fluttercry:, may he rest in peace:pinkiesad2:. Keep up the exponential work!

This is such a cute and sad story I love it :pinkiegasp: The ending was really great too :rainbowkiss:

That was amazing! So many tears! :fluttercry:

You did something many other stories have failed to do: almost make me cry:raritycry:

It makes me think what'll soon happen to my grandfather...:ajsleepy::applecry::fluttershysad::fluttershyouch::fluttershbad::fluttercry::raritydespair::raritycry:

Grandma Glory levitates the pins and starts to put them in place. “You know, it took me just as long for my magic to finally kick in. It takes time, Rarity. Remember what I said about patience?”

there's two spaces between

Grandma Glory

and

levitates

.

Nice story bro, dem feels are tru.

Tragic but moving.

To see how this alliteration of Rarity continues with her passion for the Art of the Dress.

This is so sad. Reminds me of this comic I read of Pinkie and her grandma.
