This is dark. It's pure vent fic, if rather indirect; my real frustrations have nothing to do with wanting to kill and eat people! Still, read at your own risk.

I don't necessarily like it, mostly because the subject matter really doesn't appeal to me, but I don't hate it, and I don't think it's bad. It doesn't go in my favorites, but it gets an upvote for being somewhat interesting and reasonably well-executed.
I do hope stifling an author's creativity is on Celestia's list of exile-worthy crimes!
It's a fic alright. It's really not as bad as I was expecting. Though really, Cooper's just an ass.

7951933 Cooper's real flaw is that he's not a character so much as an excuse. Of course that's also Cupcakes Pinkie's real flaw, so they go well together.
If I were trying to do something more serious with this I might attempt to make him have actual motivations besides "he eats ponies because he's a jerk like that".

7951972 Hmm. True. I was thinking of Johnny the Homicidal Maniac when I wrote the paragraph where she babbles madly. It's actually mildly debatable whether Johnny is mentally ill or not, once you read the whole series, but I suppose if one comes down on "not" he still has reasons for what he does. Whether that carries over to Pinkie in this story I have no idea, of course. It doesn't really have room for further delving into her motivations, all things considered.

I could write the re-creation and the new Equestria, but of course then I'd end up duplicating the show, since it would arguably all be the same. Or who knows, maybe next time it would be different. Maybe this cycle is where all the AUs come from.
