Twilight and Starlight are invited to the Crystal Empire to help prepare for Hearts and Hooves Day, but Starlight winds up meeting a pony whom is in love with a music artist whom she has been friends with for a very long time, but cannot seem to confess her feelings for him.
Little does she or any pony realize at the start, things aren't as simple as they think with the music artist
LESSON: A Person cannot change the way they feel simply because another wants them to.
*Sigh* Welp. I'm betting this is going to get downvotes.

Perhaps, but most are usually out of vanity (Because I WROTE the fic, they just downvote it without even reading)
7945299 Hard to not downvote after reading your super edgy bio.
Also, who'd you publish so many chapters all at once? Your story will get more reception if you upload one chapter a day. That's how I do my smaller stories; finish it entirely, then space the uploads out.

But Valentine's Day is tomorrow... So I made this fic in a hurry (Plus I have other projects to do at once)
and I plan to load the last chapter THEN, ON Hearts and Hooves Day... besides, it's a short episode (Story)
7945319 I have a fic that was only 11,000 words spread out over very similar chapter sizes to what you have, and it ended up getting featured, so to that end, I'd say size doesn't matter.
Hi there - haven't read the story, but just noticed the description, and I had to ask: why are you using the term 'music artist?'
I mean, most would say 'musician,' or occasionally if trying to emphasise his creative side, 'composer' or 'songwriter.' Or, I guess, perhaps mentioning his instrument of choice by name, like 'guitarist' or 'violinist.'
I just wondered why you chose the term 'music artist,' it seems rather clunky.

That easy... a musician would simply refer to someone who just PLAYS MUSIC... rather than someone who Plays, Sings, Writes... THAT is a music artist
Oh, dear. I don't think Sunburst is going to be very happy...
7945795 Sure; each to their own and all, if you think the terminology implies a different meaning then perhaps it's worth the clunkiness.
I can only speak from anecdotal evidence, but as someone who plays, sings, writes... and while we're on the subject, works, lives, sleeps, breathes, dreams, and never ceases thinking about music, I'd call myself a songwriter or a composer, or a musician by broader trade. An artist, yes, but if asked to specify what kind of art, I'd say musician rather than music artist.
I agree that 'musician' does lean towards the technical performance side, but I think 'composer' is the creative counter to that, personally. I just wondered if changing the term might make the description a little snappier, but if you don't think so then not to worry.
I loved it!

Here's another story that has Strings in it, and just as deep...
https://www.fimfiction.net/story/460925/hour-long-special-if-i-cant-love-her
Didn’t think sunburst would do it.
If strings won’t do it, then they could always find someone else.
You mean sad?
Is it? I never really understood their titles.
In that case it’s cadence’s problem.
What if they were compatible, but didn’t love eachother?
That’s bullsh*t.
So his crush started when she saved him? Pretty sure there’s a name for that, but I forgot what it was.
Well, there’s plenty of fish in the sea.

Yes, but it's up to the fisherman if whether or not he chooses to cast again.

That’s true.
