Discord magic couldn't stop the activation of the element. If he could he would have done so when twilight used them against him turning into stone again. In this story he did try to stop them but was too late to change his fate. The rst of the answers you seek will be showed later.

There's the description fixed at least. Not sure why you spelled Ponyville wrong, or the Mane Six as one word. Not sure about the rest of the story yet.
