Awww, super cute!

Is Twitter the only way to contact Hoof Work, Deep Dish (DeeDee), and Mustard Mark?

For now, it is. Luckily, you can sign up for Twitter pretty easily if you'd like to talk to them.

This was a cute story to read, Vivid! Great job on it. And a great job to Note Worthy as well. I'll be sure to let him know soon. And I hope you had a great Valentine's day!:pinkiehappy:

Thanks for checking it out, Golden Note! I had a great day, and I hope you did, too!

7949694 Eh, not really. Lol but I'll be spending Friday night with my girlfriend so I still got my own Valentine's to look forward too.

That's sounds great! I hope you two have a wonderful evening. :raritywink:

7949778 Thanks! I hope we do too lol. :raritywink::twilightblush:

I don't know if it was intentional or not, but the link to DeeDee's twitter is actually to Hoof Work's.

Definitely something fun to wake up to. ^^
This was sweet little story and a fun exploration of the relationship between the mascots.
I may have only gotten introduced to them yesterday, but through reading this have gotten a chance to get to know them rather well.
Quite the shame the con is on the other side of the world.

The messaging sections in between were both a welcome change of pace, as well as a great way to portray mental states without the need for an internal monologue.
The ending may have been somewhat spoiled by having seen the twitter feeds before the story itself, but the payoff wasn't any less rewarding.

This definitely brought a smile to my face.

Thanks for sharing your talents ^^

Fixed! Thank you very much for pointing that out!

Well, this was a nice read.

Pretty good story. I'm glad to see Hoof Work didn't get ditched on valentines day. The modern tech was different, but not in a bad way.

Dammmmm noice! Go Hoof! Also: I'm pretty sure DeeDee is my soul pony. Knows about pizza and beer pairings. Amazing sense of humor. Chicagoan.... Hoof Work, help a pony out here. :moustache:

Heh heh. I had to do some research to make sure the beer recommendations paired well. I'm glad someone noticed!

D'aw, cute and heartwarming, all in a fairly short story. Although I haven't heard of these characters until this day, the way they're portrayed here at least gives me a good sense of who they are and how they usually interact with one another.

The texting sections, especially since they actually mimicked the general appearance of a phone's messaging UI, were a pretty unique way of getting glimpses into the characters' various thoughts and feelings throughout the story, all without having to write paragraphs of actually describing the action of texting and what the characters were feeling while doing so.

So all in all, it was a cute bite-sized story with a rather unique manner of executing some parts of itself, and I certainly found it enjoyable!
