I appreciate that you are novellizing Vacavung's (LoveLess) comics, but as long as you have his permission, make the story your own. We already know the story thanks to the comics, for there are points where you could go into a little depth with them. But now it needs a little of your touch.
This in generaly reminds me of Turnabout Storm, even to the point where the Youtube videos were around long before the novellization of it in the fanfic by the same name (and apparently one in the 1000+ Upvote Club for starters).

7909246 Don't worry, I have actually brought this up to him. He said it is fine as long as he is credited and a link to his DA is present. As for putting my own spin on things, don't worry. I've got plenty of ideas on how to do that. For right now, I felt the best way to introduce new stuff into this is to take things slow. Start with what is familiar and expand upon it and add new ideas as I go along. By the third chapter, there will be one and a half new scenes as well as an extension on the ones already present. I wonder if anyone took notice of the 'next time' section in the authors notes... Honestly, I do spoil a bit in those, even if what is there is out of context dialogue.

That's cool. Personally, I'm kinda looking forward to how Sparity reacts to meeting Alternative Dawn for the first time. Maybe the little quips of Nightmare Rarity shipping the two already may be a little different from the comics, like how maybe Sparity may have a little crush on Dawn (as opposed to the comic when from jump it was straight up confrontations and hostility). And I see that we have Aerial Ace, Super Surprise, and Apple Eden, so we are looking forward to Dawn as well as Little AJ. Also, it would be nice to see if Serene (if she shows up) is actually an actual dragoness with wings or if she's gonna be a wyvern (her arms are wings).
Real quick observation: is the Anthro tag there for Little AJ only, or is it that all the characters are anthropomorphized? It would be interesting to see all of the characters as anthro, especially a much-older Spike and NM Rarity. What can I say, NM Rarity in anthro form blows me away at times
, and I would love to see or imagine Sparity in anthro form (both her pony form and her dragon form).
7927225 Perhaps I should have been specific. Yes, the anthro tag is for Lil AJ, as she will be in a lot of stuff later on in the story. Rightfully so, she is a part of the main cast and has the unique power to combine with her allies. It'll be vary useful in the future ;)

Now I want to know what happens when you break a Pinkie Promise now that she's dead. Is she haunting the breaker of the promise in this case? Make the one apologize from beyond the grave? Seriously, that question needs to be answered.
And is Applejack alive, too? Her tag is there. That would be so awesome! There was a short mentioning of an "AJ", is that her descendant or Applejack herself?

Also, yes, Applejack is indeed still alive, and she even has a daughter. However, quite a bit of that is explained in the Chaos future Arc. If I were to do other stories besides that it would also be explained elsewhere.
If the main OCs of this story were voiced, what would they sound like?
8149949 Honestly, I never did put too much thought into who or what each character, but I do have a few ideas. For isntance, Alternate Dawn would probably sound like Elijah Wood, the voice of Spyro in the Legend series.
What about Rarity calls her daughter Tsundere?

In all seriousness, I am thankfull that you let me write for these characters, and even more grateful you let me get into character and try to figure out how they work. Without your inspiration, and room to expand the story, I doubt I would have gotten anywhere.
I am certain the longer I go, I will diverge further from canon, but such is the way of fan works...
If you would like, I actually would like to run a few ideas for future chapters in this story by you, the product of my years of tinkering with potential plot threads. It uh... Isn't easy sometimes getting good solid ideas. Thats why this chapter took nearly a year to come out, despite being so short.

As they say, there are thousands of ways to say "I love you." But not all of them use words. The point was to show trust between Dawn and Sparity, as well as to show how deeply Dawn cares about his friends. Book of prophecies be darned, these friends he made are the ones he chose. It just happened to line up nicely...
