I have so many questions... that I hope will get answered. So I’ll just focus on the one that I’m expecting *not* to be in the story.
They both are Russian-speakers right? Because twice, Silnyy has answered “Ja”, and that’s confusing to me.
In my opinion, if the first chapter of a story does not raise questions, it's a bad chapter.
You're right about 'Ja;' I should have used 'Da.' Whoops!
When reading this story try to imagine all of the characters speaking English with a fat, Eastern-European/Russian accent. That was what I was going for and I'm glad you figured that out.
