Chapter Seven: Love is blind

"A CHANGELING" shouted Rainbow Dash jumping in front of her friends and Discord

"No wait,....I want to help" said Thorax

Rainbow was about to hurt him when she was stopped, Discord was the cause of this

"Let him talk," he said

"WHAT?" the others shouted

"F-F-Fluttershy would've let him talk if she was here,...I don't fully trust him, but if she was here, she'd give him the benefit of the doubt, I think I should do the same"

The changeling smiled "You must be Discord" he said

"Yes,...please tell me everything you know that can help me save her, where is she?"

"She's in master Sombra's castle"

"SOMBRA?" asked Twilight

"Yes, he had his changeling guard take miss Fluttershy to his castle, he,.....he wants her to be his bride"

Discord's eyes narrowed as flames erupted around him he looked just as fierce as Fluttershy did when she was yelling at Eris long ago

"HE WANTS HER TO WHAT?!!!!"

"I'm sorry, but it's true, he wants her because she's so pretty and because she's powerful, he wants to use her,.....I was supposed to be his servant, but then I saw him make her cry by hoodwinking her"

"THAT SON OF A-" Discord swore so badly that Pinkie had to take out her sound effect machine and keep on pressing the button that made the same beep noise that TVs made when something was censored

"I know, but if you follow me, I can help you"

"Why should we trust you?" asked Rainbow still not convinced

"Because I'm your only chance"

Discord then said "He's right, we have to trust him"

eventually, the others nodded and followed Thorax

Fluttershy was crying on the bed, she had been crying for five hours

suddenly there was a knock on the door, Fluttershy said between sobs "Come in"

Sombra entered the room, he sat beside trying to suppress a smirk

"Please dearest, don't be sad, it's not your fault that he doesn't love you" he wrapped a hoof around her back

"but I do, I do"

Fluttershy pushed the hoof away

"I appreciate your concern for how I feel, but I,...."

"Don't love me?" he asked

she nodded

he put his hoof under her chin, forcing her to look into his eyes

"But I've shown you kindness, I've been sympathetic, and I've given you everything you've wanted haven't I?"

"But not my freedom"

"But do you really want to go back now?"

Fluttershy opened her mouth to speak, then she stopped, she was on the verge of tears again

"Listen,... You love me" his eyes were turning into swirls, a few seconds later, so did hers

"I,.......I love you" she repeated

"You want to stay here," he said

"I want to stay here"

"you don't have friends"

"I don't have friends"

"Good,....now tell me,.. do you ever want to see Discord again?"

"No,.......No,......NOOOOOOOO" as she said this her complexion turned gray, her eyes looked like Sombra's, her hair had changed to red with streaks of black, Sombra's darkness had consumed her.

"Darling, are you tired?" asked Sombra smiling

"Yes" she said laying down under the covers

Sombra smirked

"Sleep well, my queen of darkness"

Discord and the girls without wings were panting

"Are-we-there-yet?" asked Pinkie panting

"Not yet, but we're close" Thorax

"Discord, why didn't you simply teleport us there again?" asked Rarity

"My body is covered in scratches, I can't snap, it hurts too much"

"Makes sense" muttered Applejack

"How do we defeat him? We don't have the crystal heart" asked Twilight

"I'd say our only hope is to get past the guards, find miss Fluttershy, and then, fight Sombra," said Thorax

"So do you think Fluttershy's okay?" asked Rainbow

"I'm sure she's fine, fortunately, Sombra isn't cruel enough to hurt a mare, that's his only limit," said Thorax

"Well I hope so, otherwise he's going to find himself in-" Discord began until Thorax interrupted him

"We're here"

"Well what are we waiting for?" asked Rainbow charging until Thorax stopped her,

"We need to go in quietly, it's urgent that we do"

"So we have to sneak eh?" asked Rainbow, she then flew to the guards and knocked them out

"Well that worked, I guess," said Thorax, "Come on" the others followed

Fluttershy sat upon her new throne smirking down at the slaves before her who were gawking at her

"WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING AT?" she asked haughtily

they stopped staring and got back to work

"Excuse me, are the slaves bugging you my dear?" asked Sombra

"No, they're just staring at me like the idiots that they are," said Fluttershy

"Don't worry dear, I am here to keep an eye on you," he said smiling, Fluttershy returned the smile.

Suddenly a changeling came in and said

"Sire, your meeting is in less than a minute"

"Ugh, very well, do not move my queen," he said looking back at her

she nodded, as he walked away, she thought "stupid changelings"

Discord and the others were right behind the door of the throne room, they waited for everypony to leave the room except for Fluttershy, they didn't hear her say anything,

"Here goes," said Discord 'One, two, THREE".
