It would've been nice to see Maude and their mother present in the second chapter, but this was a pretty fun story nevertheless. I really liked the way you portrayed Igneous as well.

Ah, I offered the patron access to any Pie family member, just those three were chosen.

Igneous was an interesting challenge - especially trying to keep him from coming off as a Mennonite preacher with the way he talks!

I had fun though. Glad you enjoyed the read

Not sure why this doesn't have more comments, but this was Hawt as YAY!. :yay:

Well that was the goal, so I'm glad you liked it! :scootangel:

I quite liked this story. The fathers dialouge was a bit confusing but apart from that, this was an amazing read

Verily, Igneous Rock's bountiful harvest is obfuscated occasionally by his Mennonite tone. (Basically :rainbowlaugh:)

Glad you liked it!

Very nice story, personally found Igneous' dialogue on point, and the story was sinful as can be: 10/10. Really deserves more attention.

Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for reading :scootangel:

As others have said, the dialog of Igneous was spot on. Did you research that style, or wing it. Also, would you consider it easier, or harder than writing heavy accents?

My only issue was trying to figure out what body type the characters had. As best I can tell, they are bipedal anthropomorphic ponies, with hind hooves and functional tails, but hands and human chests? I was just thrown a little because there is usually a tagline of the characters are other than Equestria Girl body type or full pony. Not an issue, it just took a while for my image processor to catch up with the description. :derpytongue2:

Ok, I have been staring at the picture for a while. Please, someone tell.me what it is:rainbowhuh:! I am pretty sure that the background is the Pie Rock Farm, but my best guess for the foreground is. . . A sliced Lime, wearing Igneous' hat, with three Grapes around it?

Help:derpyderp2:

I winged it. I live in Amish country :raritywink:

As for what race they are, yes, anthro. Hence the 'anthro' tag at the top of the story. Hooves for feet, but otherwise bipedal, with hands, muzzles, horse ears, etc.

The background of the cover image is the family farm, yes. The foreground is a compilation of the cutie marks of the three characters in the story. Well, in Igneous's case it's his hat rather than his mark, but the lime is part of Limestone's mark, and the purple objects are marbles, which comprise Marble Pie's mark. Unless I have reason or permission to post something else, I usually do my own cover art, and typically it involves linking together cutie marks of participating characters.

There are only two pie sisters in this story. Maud only being referenced by the main characters. Therefore if the cutie mark of the one is in the picture, and the iconic hat of Igneous is in the picture, then the three purple orbs must then represent--?

Three purple marbles is Marble Pie's cutie mark. It's basically intended to represent Igneous over Limestone, with surrounding encouragement from Marble.
