In seven years, though? This is... well, incredible!

It's not incredible, it's literally impossible. Not only did nothing Isaac have relate to any of those changes in technology but the only way to reverse-engineer something is to already possess the technology to build it yourself and a good existing understanding of it. Even then the result is a poor imitation in most cases. China is a good and glaring example of this process and its requirements.

Also, stealing what humanity worked damn hard to invent and create would severely piss me off. But, I would have the last laugh, as would humanity, as it would cripple their ability to grow and adapt while we would continue going. Their only choice would be to progress their science from what they had originally and spend the centuries or millennia to go from there naturally on their own merit in order to eventually progress at all beyond what they stole. The same situation China is in with its own inability to invent, only steal and mimic (poorly, like their hilarious stealth fighter whose design actually has some features that magnify a radar cross-section).
