While many ponies see Daring Do as the bravest pony to ever live, whether it be in a book or in real life, few have seen her for who she truly is. Explore Daring's past, from her family to the events that have led up to present day and follow one pony in particular as he finds out how the fabled 'fearless explorer Daring Do' isn't so fearless after all.

The last part of my Remembrance series! (The other four fics are available on my profile) Longest fic yet and I'm very proud on how it turned out. As this is the 5th fic of the first collection of the Remembrance fics, I will be taken a short break and not release another Remembrance-based fanfic for a while.
Other than that, I hope you enjoy this story and do leave a comment stating what I can improve on/what I did well etc. I really do read every single comment I get and treasure each constructive criticism or praise I receive.

Oddly, this is the second story I've read in the last hour in which Rubik's Cube plays a role. (This is the other one.) I think I solved the accursed thing once; after that, I spray-painted the sides and ignored it for several decades.
As Daring Do backstory goes, this was great fun, and it explains much about her presumed temperament. I only wish Rainbow Dash could read this.

I love the Remembrance series...every one of them has so much emotion behind it. I longingly await the day when you return to writing these stories, because I think very few authors on this site can match the emotion in them.
