8141644 Well... I did say I was tempted, not that I would stop right away. It's still possible I'm totally off with what I expect to happen, or fail to take something into account that's yet to come.
I know that Spike's pretty ticked off at finding out for himself that Rarity only likes him as a friend. But seriously, look at this--your potential special somepony is a PRINCESS... a bloody PRINCESS!!! You've known all this time that Celestia truly cares for you as a mother, and now strangely as a lover, but utimately it's like hitting the jackpot!!!
Spike, despite your objections to it, you need to respect Rarity's choice of a special somepony at least; she was dating Countly Arismo before, and it showed that there was still enough there for the two of them to give it a second chance. It sucks to deal with the truth, but as a good friend of hers, support her in her new relationship. You said it yourself: there was so much doubt that you would even have a shot with a pony like Rarity anyway, so when the inevitable happened and it confirmed that you didn't have a shot in the first place. the noble thing would be to wish her the best of luck.
And honestly, I really hope that it doesn't go a love triangle route, where eventually Spike has to choose between Celestia and Rarity. As far as I'm concerned, the choice has been made. The events where the affected charaacters pretty much had sex with each other (Rarity and Courtly twice, and then Spike and Celestia) pretty much showed the end results. Also, I know that the others are gonna be a little cross with Rarity after this, but just like Spike they have to respect Rarity's choices--she's a grown mare after all, and she can fuck any stallion she wants. I also think that specifically Twilight and Starlight need to apologize to Spike a bit for letting him have the run-around. Yes, it was gonna hurt to learn the truth, but in the grand scheme of things, it's akin to ripping the bandage off or a scrape or cut--it's gonna hurt in the beginning, but the sooner that's done, the sooner that the healing process can start.
And disclaimer: I am a pretty deep Sparity fan, but more of a Spike shipper in general. So I'm a little in Gabstey's corner about it looking like a typical 'Let show Rarity's potential mates as complete assholes to make Spike so much better than them'. That gets tiring. But I also know that the story isn't over, so I'm looking forward to how things turn out. Maybe there is more than is being shown...we just have to find out.
I think you may need to review my comment, my friend. I never said that there is a definite love triangle already working. All I said was that I just hope it doesn't go into a love triangle route. My reasoning is that it's pretty convinced that Spilestia (Spike X Celestia) is gonna be the ship for him, and letting Rarity go back to the stallion that used to be her boyfriend but is now her boyfriend again (Rarity and Countly). Also I was referring to how Rarity reacted a bit after how Spike confessed and was shot down by Rarity herself. We the audience know that there will never be a romantic bit between Rarity and Spike and that Rarity made her choice, but honestly, some of the fallout did seem like Rarity was reconsidering her friendzoning Spike. Maybe it's just me though.
EDIT: I make have completely fucked my argument with getting the definition of a love triangle wrong. That is when a male or a female has love for two different suitors but cannot choose one or the other, right?? And in this case: Spike has love for Rarity as of this chapter Celestia, Celesita reciprorates the feelings, and Rarity sees him as just a friend. so there is no love triangle, right?
Damn, I'm starting to confuse myself....please help
8145046 It's not just you. We all know that it will never happen. Granted, there could be tidbits in the show here and there, but it will never be official. You had a point that Rarity made her choice, but she should've at least took into some form of consideration of how Spike was gonna react. But she made it without even batting an eye, and that's a fact. It's human nature to feel this way when you see the girl of your dreams get with another guy, let alone the biggest asshole you've yet encountered, it would crush you. While I cannot prove it myself, I know that I would be crushed as much as Spike would. But you're right. Knowing about it, as opposed to ripping off a bandage covering a scrape or wound will hurt, but it will heal in time. But just know that I, in good conscience, do NOT support incest in anyway, shape, or form.
Great chapter, I can't wait to see how Spike and Celestia handle their new relationship. I wonder how will Spike handle seeing Rarity again. I mean when he compare the love and overall display of caring between Celestia and Rarity even he will see Celestia has shown him so much more than Rarity ever had. And I think it will be far more interesting when she see the pony she is with is really a ass and she see how much she hurt Spike to be with him. It doesn't mean it would change her feelings for him but to see the friend she may have lost for him would hurt more than anything.
8145099 Then there's also the fact that Spike punched a guy in the face for being Rarity's boyfriend, then yelled at all his friends like it's their fault.
Spike has a lot of apologies to get to. Yes, he was upset, but that's no excuse. That he didn't feel even a little bit sorry for any of it makes him look really selfish right now.
I'm a Sparity fan, but I actually agree with you with this, Spike is definitely being an asshole with how he's handling Rarity going to someone else. I mean he's got the Princess of the Sun as a potential special somepony, it's time to just cut bait, apologize, give Rarity and Countly their best regards like the noble dragon he tries so hard portray (so that he's not compared to his brutish compartments) and move on.
Hopefully they will see the beautiful relationship between them in time.

I wonder what's gonna happen when Celestia learns what Aristo did to Spike in the hallway... seeing that Twilight knows about it
Adorable a love triangle, celestia x spike x rarity.
I can not wait to see how it develops.
One thing, the lemon scenes are a bit poor you could make them something more complete.
If it is not a problem, this is clear.
Please put the hurt on Rarity's emotions and that dick's. . . . Well. . . . Dick. Lol.
8144573 Yep... that is the gist of it.

Consdering the stallion attacked him earlier I say fair game on that point.
