Girls, girls! I heard something new!
Only Luna can confirm this, but seems like the Everprince might not be the real villain of the series. I got some hints that there will be a new enemy (force?) making its appearance in the next arc which might mess up the current balance of power.
Not much, but when you think about it, this is incredibly exciting! We already know that there might be a corporate war starting soon (there have always been hints, but on a few occasion junior executives managed to exchange threats in MCE). New deities have appeared (Icelos and the Everprince) as well as titans (and titanborn). Also with the hints from Chosen, the special squad (that is supposed to observe the corporations and keep them in check) seems to answer to an even greater power.
Also, one big thing going back to the last arc: only a few of the main cast have their evergems, and only Euryala knows how to use hers (not counting the Everprince). Oh, and what will they do with Omni? I mean will they try to get him back or will they give up him and just consider him an enemy?
I must say I have mixed feelings about that. I love Omni, I also like Loki, but really hate the things the Everprince has done.

To be honest I haven't asked about the new arc. I suppose I could, but then again what if I let myself be surprised this time? Also, it's not so much fun when parts of the writing staff are in the site reading this right now. (I love you all! Please hire me as editor!:))
What you say makes sense, in regards to the corporate war. Max has been speculating on that for ages. At one point she'd go "next chapter the war breaks out!" And it never would :) Maybe the writers got tired of reading that on various sites and decided to indulge her. :P

@PrinceEric: Finally we get a corporate war! This should have happened two volumes ago! There are all these powerful and scary organizations, each with spies, sorceress squads and what not, of course they should start fighting! Just ask any colt: fight is right! (In books, at least.) Not to mention it will give us a chance to learn about the remaining twelve (@Luna: the figure varies by the way! I've seen 7, 9, 10, and 12 mentioned multiple times!)
The whole new threat thing is a bit anticlimactic. I mean, sure, it makes sense, I guess, but really? We got the Everprince at last and you're not going to use him? What the heck is he for, then? Splitting the group? Setting them on a path to "bring him back"? Get shipped with Echo? What?!?

On that note. @Feather: I heard a rumor that there are a few MCE scrolls sold to the Griffin market. What interesting is that they were modified quite a bit. So much so, in fact, that they have almost nothing in common with the original MC. Can you tell me if that's true? And if it, any way I can find copies? I asked Luna, but that must have taken place before her time so it's unlikely anyone would know.
If that's true we might be talking about missing masterpieces :)

@LyraHands: What your are referring to are the Sunlight Chapters.
As you know Griffin culture is much more sun oriented, even more so than ponies, so a special version of MC was made to "test the waters". I have no idea how well they did (which means they must have done extremely poorly), however, they do exist. I myself managed to read one when in school (we were a mixed class) and from what I remember I didn't find them particularly good. Of course, at the time, I had a much different view of the world ("eww, kisses" was my philosophy of the way, if I recall.)
Thus, the chapters are real, but difficult to find, yet hardly valued (the worst combination when it comes to trying to find something.) I myself have failed in my attempts to find even a single scroll, so gave up years ago. I might try again and with luck, and this new technology, maybe I'll fare better this time.

Those weren't a myth? We used to joke about them a lot when we first met. I remember the Midday Castle hoax. What was it called... the counter story? I still have no idea who wrote that. It was so bad! :P Like, really, really horrible! First rate trolling!

Yes! I've finally caught up and have so much to say. I chose not to comment before I was caught up because the comments themselves sort of tell a story of the progression of the story as well. Also I have no idea how comments on earlier chapters work, do they end up on the most recent chapter or appear under the chapter that's being commented on? Either way the former doesn't appeal to me and the latter kinda feels blasphemous.
I saw this story in featured a couple days ago and the concept instantly intrigued me. I've been reading it nonstop including the AMAs and companion piece. All I can saw is that you're a phenomenal writer! I mean I get that it's a forum but you know how to make these characters real. They have jobs, obligations, real life relationships, while some of the ponies are dealing with the toughest times in their lives, others are going through new and exciting changes and still others are just living the day to day and even for them things change! I can say that I personally haven't ever read a fic or at the very least I've read too many that don't deal with issues like Fluttershy or other characters with similar circumstances constantly having to leave to go off on potentially life threatening missions. There's a reason why everything is the way it is and it's explained in such a way that it doesn't feel like exposition and even when information we know is repeated it's interesting to see how ponies who didn't know deal with it. The whole forum framework (is that what it's called? sorry if i can hardly words right now) works beautifully for this and makes them feel even more real.
I'm also super thrilled that you added so many background ponies and even changed their attitudes online. Minuette is one of my favorites and I swear if you put September in here I will be frothing at the mouth (I know he's a comic reference to Fringe, but imo he'd be just a perfect fit for Spectator7, though I actually hope their identity is never revealed). I LOVE nothing more than seeing background characters get love, especially the obscure ones. And you gave them all such fitting personality. Also setting this 1-3 years after the season 6 finale is great because it gives you a lot of wiggle room.
Also I both love and hate how much you make me want to read Mistmount Chronicles and the fics based on them. I'm a huge Fallout Equestria and Kkat fan and I'd so love to see AwesomePony's crossover! Also related to that and on a bit more serious note I'm kinda worried about you. The increase in typos and the fact that you release a new chapter daily on top of fixing old typos and working on the next chapter of The Meetup probably among other things make me think maybe you're overworking yourself and the fact that we all love and want to read the stories mentioned in the story only pressures you to do more. I know I don't know your life and it's none of my business how you live your life, but take care of yourself okay. And I'm not just saying that for the sake of this story.
Last thing, you've even given some p great writing advice and seem to know a lot about the types of problems and weaknesses of fics and writers. Hope you don't mind if I maybe ask you for some advice myself sometime. :P And before I forget I also love the way you flipped everything making Equestria more matriarchal and focusing on a young colt's series.

If Max keeps this shit up, S&H will lose any chance she has at developing any sort of relationship as a teen, and will become a bitter and resentful cunt as an adult.
In other words, Max has decided to make sure her own sister becomes just like her. And yes, she may be a product of her own upbringing, but that does not excuse her current actions. She is making the DELIBERATE choice to deny S&H the chance to have a normal teenage years.

My theory is that Griffins are wing and sunshine (as with the chalice mentioned in Griffinstone). That's why I've made them so close to the sun. Also, I think they are under celestia since they take part in the Equestria Games as any other city :) (A bit different from the major theories, I know :))
Also, they have low plagerism, so laws are far more lenient in that regard :)

Aww thank you :)) Many apologies for not responding faster :( Sadly (as the typoes have shown) I've been a bit occupied with work (I'm in a relatively stressful industry). I'll do my best to decrease the amount, but knowing how bad I am at finding errors... :(
I really hope I manage to pull the story to the end (which is to be 2018) and have a number of arcs concluded :D Also I've been trying to write the sidestories with mixed results. I can only apologize and thank you for your patience :))

:) Max is this way because she went through some turbulent stuff in school, leading her to being alone for a decade. Combined with RRBB's character she's really scared about her sister. That's just the way I envisage she'll react :)
