This story is a sequel to The Wandering Warrior
Rainbow Dash, the fastest flier in Equestria, is done.
She's been beaten for three years straight by the same person, no matter how hard she's trained. Then she was crippled by a foe whose dark power was beyond anything she could fight. She lost her wing. She lost her pride. She lost her will.
But now she has a new foe to face. One that is cold and monstrous. He will not simply beat her. He will break her, break her down so badly that the only place she'll have left to go...is up.
She will face a tiger.

Ono always uses a composed version for the protagonist, which is good cause we might see a Satsui no Hado version of either Sagat or RD.
I thought Sagat was more of an anti-villain.

Oh, I'm looking forward to this.
This is probably one of the best starts that this story could've had. The last story had Rainbow sticking to the themes of MLP by forgiving Ryu for what he did, but now she's no longer in the hospital bed and had to face the world with her new disability. Rainbow did a fairly good job of summarizing that her life was absolutely destroyed by that mutilation. I personally think that she would've gotten more support from her friend, especially now that she can't hide in the clouds from them. One point that sticks out is that you didn't have Rainbow mention what Applejack was doing when you made sure to mention the rest of the Main 6.
Well I'm looking forward to more chapters, but I do pray that the comment section doesn't become nearly as toxic as any chapter featuring Rainbow in the last story became.

Agreed. Rainbow being defeated by Ryu would have just her getting her desserts, but I what E. Ryu did was supposed to be horrifying and an example of what happens when the Dark Hado takes over

Now I don't know that much about most of the street fighters lore. But from what I've seen on youtube, his lose against Ryu put Sagat on a path of redemption, as well as forgiveness. So my question, is the Sagat in this story the past version out for revenge, or is he the current version that's moved on?

Perhaps it has to do with Dark Ryu, maybe his power literally pulled the magic from her as he took her wing.

Well. She's not going to be happy about this. Did Sagat at least bother to tell anyone what he was up to? Or will Fluttershy return the next day to an empty house and no sign of Rainbow.
Because that's the kind of thing that can lead a mare to the wrong conclusions.
Well now she knows what she needs to leave this place the question becomes how long will it take for her to be able to do so? I think Fluttershy had this set up as Sagat was there too fast and was probably just out of view and only moved when Fluttershy gave her approval.
Ouch... this is going to be a painful therapy... GL Rainbow!
I hope RD gets that robot wing. Cause while I may not be obsessed with symmetry, the whole "one wing" thing annoys me.

There is a school of treatment for trauma that believes that mental wounds cause a kind of scarring- that is, unless the mind is forcibly reset by some means, PTSD is the result.
Muay Thai training from the Tiger himself is both the proper medicine and the size of the dose required for an egotist as big as Rainbow Dash.

The Street Fighter Wiki lists Sagat as being 7 feet 5 inches or 226 cm, Zangief meanwhile is 7 feet tall but weighs almost double what Sagat does.
So THAT's who brought Sagat to train Dash? Interesting... XD

She did it and gained a new power in the process, I dare say her road to recovery is going rather smoothly. Heres hoping that she doesn't fall into same traps again by being too overconfident. Sagat deserves a pat on the back for being a good teacher.
Speaking of power, what is the difference between Satsui no Hado and Psycho power? Are they the same thing with minor differences or is one better than the other?
But how did zangief cross reality to find Sagat?
