These vignettes are some fascinating combined world and character building. The first has such a strong loneliness and brooding that I almost feel bad for Chrysalis, even while I get the sense she got what she deserved (maybe I’m more sad for Thorax and Ocellus, though). The second one reads like a dark fantasy, and it seemed to hint a little that Chrysalis was delusional. The third’s pretty cute, especially the song snippet.
