Really? That doesn't sound good, i'm sorry to hear that.

7755050 No, that is never a bad thing. Many novice authors add too many tags and it makes the front cover look atrocious.

If you enjoy writing, I suggest you join Rage Reviews.

It was a quiet evening outside Scootaloo's house. The Ponyville Weather Team scheduled a gentle snowfall for tonight.

Weather report :applecry:

Your writing is alright, but you could use an editor. Even just having a proofreader look over your work would help tremendously.

Ah, thank you.

I would love to! Alas, I have no idea to where to find them :applecry:.

Was the weather report bad?

Maybe, but I don't want overly harsh reviews.

What did you think of the concept?

7917902 The concept is fresh, most Scootaloo stories tend to be about her past.
Harsh reviews are better. They're not personally attacking you (they shouldn't be), they're attacking the writing and give valid reasons as to why it's bad or good and give you tips for improvement. (Also, most stories aren't reviewed anyway. Doesn't hurt to try. It would help to read a few of their reviews though)

Yes, weather reports are bad. They're unnecessary.
I could proofread your stories if you want. Everything I've published on this account is very old, though, so don't use that as a reference.

Thank you.

I read some of there reviews, some are good, but I spent way too much time on them and got really sleepy.

Oh, I just wanted to set the scene.

Oh, thank you! I would love that! :scootangel:

7920725 Yeah, but too many people set the scene that way. It gets old.
Just message me if you ever need help with anything.

I didn't know it was a cliche.

I'm not working on anything at the moment, but I will talk to you if I think of something.

7920990 As someone who's read millions (probably around ten million+) pony words, it is a cliche. Not just in ponyfic, in general fiction. But that's another good thing about having an experienced proofreader, they can tell you what to watch out for (no scootabuse/wings dont work/adoption/displaced/self-insert HiE for starters).

I don't really think I could write a story with scootabuse in it.
