A fun read definitely. Wonder if the Equestrian crown will pay her bill in the interests of good relations or Ember will have to pay for all this food with part of her hoard. I'm also wondering if there is anything behind chubby Rarity and Spike, post holidays fat or something else? Either way I like it, Raritub is a personal favorites, hope we see more (ha!) of her in later chapters.
Also, with the milk discussion? I see where your going. You're sick, I like that.

So, everyone is fat in this? I mean, wtf? I'm laughing as I type this. So, it's really hard to be serious right now. Why did you do that? Rarity would be the last pony to be fat. She'd probably go on some 4k if she ate more than one daffodil sandwich in a day. I know I'm over exaggerating, but she always struck me as the type who would take a lot of pride in her appearance.
Or is there something sinister going on here? Hm,
Anyway, this looks like this is going to be an interesting read. I look forward to you have this play out.
7747260 I disagree with you about Rarity. Of all the Main six, I think Rarity would be the most likely to get fat from what I've seen on the show. What does Rarity do when she's upset? She binge eats several large tubs of Ice Cream. That can't be good for a thin figure. And how often do you see Rarity doing rigorous exercise to burn off all those extra calories? Hell, on a few episodes she goes out of her way to avoid exerting herself; like making her sister carry her lazy self and a ridiculous amount of luggage when they went camping.
I'm not saying Rarity would be okay with becoming overweight, but judging from her character, this scenario plays out in my head:
Rarity gains a little bit of weight from binge eating and a sedentary lifestyle. At first, she may be dismayed by the pudge gathering on her body, ashamed even. Over dramatic and upset, she eats her emotions away and gets even fatter. It's a vicious cycle, and at a certain point, her friends decide enough is enough and step in to try and help Rarity. Twilight Sparkle would likely be overweight as well; being sedentary and having a fondness for hay burgers. Seriously, there's a scene in the show where she eats six burgers with fries and soda in one sitting. Twilight would probably encourage Rarity not to be ashamed of her body, even if she is fat. Spike is already portrayed with a gut in the show and is often motivated by the prospect of eating. He would agree with Twilight, as would I think Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy. Applejack and Rainbow being athletes, would try to set Rarity up with an exercise regiment. She may stick with it for a time, but honestly, I think Rarity would get lazy or caught up in her business, stop exercising altogether, and simply accept being fat since no one seems to treat her any different.
One pony that I don't see getting fat naturally is Rainbow Dash since her goal in life requires her being light, fit and aerodynamic. Something detrimental (Like a serious injury, or getting kicked out of the Wonderbolts) would have to happen before Rainbow Dash would allow herself to get fat.

7750966 Sorry to disappoint. I'm weird about vore. I like it to be somewhat realistic. So if Ember were to eat a pony at her size now, the victim would be torn apart and eaten in manageable pieces. Vore at this point would be gory, and that might turn a lot of people off. My story description might be misleading. Yes, Ember has the urge to eat ponies, but she's fighting that urge since she considers ponies allies and friends. For now, the plot will revolve around the ponies trying to keep Ember from eating them by distracting her with more and more non-living food. But don't despair, when Ember grows big enough to swallow most other characters whole easily, there will be vore. And the characters that will be eaten will be the kind that Equestria would be better off without, like Garble or Queen Chrysalis.
I don't know why I'm responding to comments when I should be writing the next chapter.

I agree with you on all fronts but remember. Rarity is extremely petty and shallow; to an insane 'sickening' degree. She literally lives for attention (of the good kind). She always goes above and beyond to have all eyes on her. Even going into jealous fits when she doesn't get the attention she 'deserves'. While we don't see her do anything physically strenuous in the show. (because she's so worried about not looking proper.) Rarity probably does work out to keep in shape. Just in private, because she's so concerned about her image.
Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if they had an episode that showed the equivalent to a YMCA in her basement under the boutique. With her brushing off everyone's confusion with a statement on how she has to stay in shape somehow and maybe lamenting on how she doesn't like working out around others.
As for the others. I can only see Twilight getting fat if Spike was to make her that way. What I mean is that from what we've seen from the show. She really gets into to her studies. To the point that'd, she probably skips meals or even bath regularly. And Because of this, whenever she did have something. She'd take whatever dish Spike made for her without second guessing it. Figuring that putting too much thought into it would take way from whatever she's working on.
So, if Spike wanted to make her fat intentionally or was really in the mood for something really greasy and doesn't feel like cooking anything else, then it cold happen. But he probably wouldn't do the former, since he's not a little shit.
It would only be possible with Pinkey if that insane metabolism of her's just abruptly stopped. Working at Sugarcube Corner, she probably eats nothing but sweets and pastries. But because she always on the move she'd never gain any weight. Plus, it's Pinkey, she'd find a way to get rid of any excess weight with some weird, insane trick. Now, if she wasn't able to do that for some reason. Her activities would come to a grinding halt, and she'd puff up like a balloon in no time.
Dash is in a similar boat. She probably eats whatever she wants, but since she'd always active. It doesn't effect her much. However, if she were get seriously injured. She's probably gain some weight, but quickly burn it off when she got better. Since, fitness is so heavily ingrained into her daily life. The only thing that would stop her is if she lost all function to her limbs.
The same can be said about Applejack, but she probably has a healthier diet. So, unless sugary, fatty food is the only thing to eat. She'd probably never gain much weight.
And finally Fluttershy. Honestly, I'm surprised she isn't already on the heavy side. Since She's the least active of the group. She'd probably be the first to start gaining weight. Unless she skips meals and gives it to her animal friends or is just blessed with a fast metabolism.

I'm enjoying this a lot. As long as there isn't actual vore (outside of maybe a dream sequence or something) I'd love to see more of how this goes.
I wonder what would happen if Ember in this story met Discord who decided to 'be nice/be mischievous' and give her an easy way to get pony sweets whenever she wants them? Just a random thought.

Ah, so scepter... ensures that the dragon that gets it is the largest by influencing them to eat? And fattening pony food is exacerbating the effect. Well, that's my working theory for now, looks like Dash will be failing tape at the Wonderbolts, and Starlights going to be in competition with Twi for all the food in the castle.
I desperately hope Rarity gets a taste of that bovinication lactation spell, Raricow is best cow, and Ember did want quite a bit of milk.
Ok yeah I was gonna say, this HAS to have been revised because I certainly didn't remember the first chapter being so awesome. No complaints here! Hopefully there's a finish to this sometime in the future. Doesn't have to be anything fancy, I'll be content with pretty much whatever!

Looks like the Scepter really packs a punch. After two days under its effects Dash is already giving her frame some padding, eating like that she'll catch up to Clotheshorse in no time. Looks like she doesn't do anything slow. I do wonder what she'll do once the weight really piles up. Dash has always been active, she's happiest flying and doing stunts. A round Rainbow might be a depressed Rainbow, and to me thay defeats the point. Chubby ponies should be happy ones.
Rarity is a great example of this, she can be a fashion moguls at 130 pounds or 430 pounds. Doesn't matter if she prances into one of her satellite boutiques or waddles, she is rocking the fashion world and living her dream.
I'm also liking platonic (I assume) feeder Pinkie. Some of her friends decide they like her food so much they center part of their lifestyle around it? She couldn't be happier to make them happy. Now that Ember has gotten her introduction to Ponyville hospitality, give your friends some help. Dash if anything needs to slow down and savor, but Rarity is going to miss out if she nibbles everything, help her cut loose sometimes.
I may be the minority, but I actually think it's a good idea if only some of the girls get in on the gorging. If everypony is fat it's easy to wave off, but if only some of the Mane 6 put on the pounds the difference between them helps highlight the "additions" they accrue.
Of course, I'm enjoying this regardless of the direction you go. Hoping your other writing is going better than Pinkie's dirty ape friend. Have a nice New Year!

Great chapter. The unexpected focus on Rainbow Dash has been awesome, and also on the interesting dynamic she's developing with Ember...definitely curious to see where you take that. And I love her made up term of 'awesome food'...such a level of self-denial is absolutely delicious.
Initially I was hoping Flutters would be getting in on the business too, but yeah I don't think it's a terrible thing that they're not all aboard the gluttony train yet. It's kinda interesting entering this timeline at somewhat of a halfway point, leaves plenty of room for shenanigans on both ends.
And I have to admit...I had me a chuckle at Pinkie's fourth-wall shenanigans. Yes it's cliche but...you made it funny lol. Good stuff mate, look forward to more.

It may be a bit. I'm currently working on a holiday story involving Smolder and Sandbar for a contest. Then I'm going to finish the next chapter of The Tree Of Gluttony. And Finally I'll start the next chapter for this.
